Brunel Hotel

Camera veramente troppo piccola e bagno piccolissimo. Lavandino non adeguato. Lungo poco più di uno spazzolino da denti.... Una persona robusta avrebbe fatto fatica a muoversi sia nella camera che nel bagno. Scendere dal letto c era subito il muro. Non c era spazio per appoggiare un trolley. Moquette vecchia e ripiani malamente sistemati. Non era segnalato nella prenotazione che la nostra camera si trovava ad un piano senza ascensore con una scala difficoltosa da percorrere se qualcuno ha mobilità ridotta e con una porta pesantissima per accedere al piano delle camere in bilico sulle scale...Va segnalato

First of all I had an upgrade room for one night and then had to switch room the next day. Turns out it was because they were fully booked. I don’t like having to spend one night in one room and the next day in another room.

The upgraded room was just with an extra bed that me and my guest didn’t need. Yes AC was good.
But my complaint is about the high pitched noise coming from the bathroom. It was coming from the shower. The shower was leaking, but the high pitched noise was the worst. Because the bed is next to the toilet and toilet has glass door, the high pitched noise was disturbing my sleep. I had traveled the whole day. I have anxiety, depression, adhd, I was already overstimulated and tired. I’d attach a video here if I could. It was loud. It was bad.

It turns out the hotel already knew about this issue as there is review from October 7 on booking that says the exact same issue. The hotel knew about this and have done nothing about it. They still give this room to people and lie that they have contacted a technician who never comes. The hotel didn’t provide me a different room as it was fully booked. They didn’t offer any kind of compensation.
I think this is unacceptable to know about an issue for a week and still offer this room as an upgrade. It’s not an upgrade. It’s a downgrade because of that sound and lift goes only to floor 3. This room was 402.

I didn’t get sleep after a long day of traveling. It caused me distress.
Also two nights in a row emergency alarm was going off at 10pm in the evening.

Second room - light switch for bathroom is not separate from bedroom. If you need light in bathroom, big light is switched on in bedroom.

To switch on ventilation in bathroom you need to climb up because it’s at the ceiling.

There is not a lot of privacy in bathroom as the door is made of glass. It’s not see through, but sounds can be heard anyway.

The carpets in the rooms and in the hotel make it so that it’s hard to open doors.

Bad elevator , small room, small bad not for two adult people. There is no shower head. They don’t have phone charger at the reception. Small place for breakfast. Same breakfast every day …

Herr Rashid war sehr wortkarg und unfreundlich. Infos gab es keine und wir mussten alles Fragen. Di Fragen wurden knapp beantwortet.

Oszklone drzwi od łazienki. Jak ktoś się z dzieckiem w pokoju to trochę słabo, bo sporo przez nie widać . Szkło mleczne.

Appreciate the climate control consideration, but the portable window AC was very noisy and awkwardly placed to walk around with the discharge vent hanging out the open window ...

The doors to our room were not opening fully, because of the thick layer of carpet, which blocked it.

A hotel egy régi épületben helyezkedik el, ami hangulatos, de aki egy modern hotelre vágyik, az ne ide foglaljon. Az ablak nem szigetelt, a falak itt-ott repedeznek, érződik némi dohos szag is. A fürdőszoba nagyon kicsi, de tiszta. A 4. emeleti szobába már csak lépcsőn lehet feljutni a 3. emeletről. Feltételezem, hogy a többi emeleten lévő szobák jobbak, mint ez a tetőtéri, ezért 8 pontot adok összességében.

El hotel BRUNEL NO se corresponde con las imagenes que publica en booking,ya que el estado del establecimiento eran cosiderablemente peores de lo esperado. Además,la ventana de la habitación no cerraba correctamente,permitiendo la entrada de frio y de lluvia, y el baño desprendia un olor muy desagradable al llover. Lo comunique al personal del hotel y a booking, y ellos hablaron con recepción sin darnos una solución al problema, decian que era un tema de salubridad( que luego entendimos, ya que al llover el baño desprendia olor y por ese motivo tenian un seguro en la ventana para que no pudieramos cerrar porque nos podiamos ahogar de la olor tan intensa que salia del baño) No nos ofrecieron ninguna solucion y eso nos impidio descansar y disfrutar de la estancia en unas condicionea minimas de comodidad e higiene.
Por la mañana se nos dijo que porque no nos habiamos quejado y menos mal que tengo un email de booking con la correspondiente conversacion de los hechos. Personal muy mal educados, nada respetuosos, casi ni saludan, habitación muy pequeña, y el ascensor no funcionaba.
