A Rare Find
Pros:

The property is in a very old building, and I would guess it was updated in the 1950-60s. Many of the appointments from those eras have been retained. (For example, an ashtray bolted to the wall in front of the toilet. I guess now it could be used now for your cell phone hahaha.) They have kept many of the beautiful things--huge stained glass windows, a grand staircase, high ceilings and ornate moldings, among others.) The staff were quite nice and very helpful. The immediate neighborhood has a thousand restaurants and stores, a post office, even a Woolworth's!

Cons:

The hallway and stairway carpets are threadbare, causing a couple of minor trips. However, the carpeting in the rooms is newer and of obvious quality. The happy hour offered could have had some real drinks--all they have in the lovely bar is beer! Well, it is Germany. This stuff is minor, though. My stay was great!

Schönes Zimmer, zentral gelegen, Frühstück nicht akzeptabel
Pros:

Das Zimmer war sehr sauber und groß, mit Couch und Sessel. Hotel zentral gelegen.

Cons:

Das Frühstück war eine Frechheit. Es gab keine Brötchen, nur Graubrot, Toastbrot und Knäckebrot. Es gab hartgekochte Eier, die aber kalt waren. 'Kuchen'!!! Auf einer kleinen Platte lagen drei kleine Kuchenstücke verteilt. Da greift schon keiner zu! Das restliche Angebot minimalst. Bei diesem Frühstück sieht man dass die Gäste nicht wert geschätzt werden. Keinerlei Mühe für die Gäste! Brötchen sind bestimmt nicht der teure Posten und gekochte Eier warm halten sollte auch keine Problem sein. Danke, nie wieder!

Pros:

Wir hätten keine bessere Unterkunft finden können und haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt. Hier wird Hotelerie noch mit Herz und Leidenschaft gelebt. Tolles Haus, tolle Zimmer, total authentisch und vor allem eine tolle Hotelmanagerin. Danke Sandra für die schöne Zeit. Wir kommen auf jeden Fall wieder.

Om du letar efter mindre personligt hotell i Schoeneberg nära Sydkreutz Bahnhof med direkttåg till flygplatsen så är det
Pros:

Trevligt mindre hotell med bra servicenivå.
Bra location för mina behov.
Lite äldre standard på inredning men välstädat och rymliga rum.

We left after one night. Forfeited a weeks worth of money just to get out of there!
Pros:

Old and outdated. Yiu have to walk up a flight of stairs from the ground floor to access the tiny elevator which takes you and maybe 2 pieces of luggage to the second level where the office is located.
The doors to the rooms are very hard to open! This alone made me nervous because the staff leaves the premises at 10 pm!

Cons:

Location was in an ugly area.
