Cons:

Risse in Klobrillen, defekte Steckdosen im Badezimmer, die nicht mehr richtig in der Wand montiert waren. Kein Ablauf der Dusche und keine Duschkabine/Vorhang. Im 3. Stock unterm Dach keine Verdunklung möglich. Keine Klimaanlage. Temperatur war unerträglich. 3. Stock ohne Aufzug. TV nur wenige Sender oder gar kein Empfang. Sauberkeit nicht gegeben.

Lovely staff and perfect location for US embasssy
Pros:

The hotel is very close to the US embassy, which is the main reason that I booked it. It is clean, close to a restaurant and located perfectly for the embassy visit.

Cons:

It is outdated but it is clean.

Pros:

Es ist ein ausgezeichnetes Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis, direkt neben dem amerikanischen Konsulat gelegen, mit guten Restaurants in der Nähe. Grünflächen und ein See sind nur wenige Gehminuten entfernt. Die Gegend ist sehr ruhig.

Preis-Leistung top, super ausgerüstet, tolle Lage im schönen Dahlem
Pros:

Das Personal, so herzlich und dass man sich direkt wohlgefühlt hatte. Die Parkmöglichkeit auf dem Hof. Die Moteloptik a la Amerika mit einer offenen Treppe auf dem Hinterhof, von wo aus man die Zimmer erreichen konnte, ohne durch den Hausflur zu gehen. Die großen Zimmer mit Küche und allen Utensilien, die man benötigte.

Cons:

Sie ist etwas betagter, es bröckelt an der ein oder anderen Stelle, aber das hat irgendwie auch Flair. Die positive Stimmung des Personals lächelt alles weg.

Good for purpose of appointment nearby but would not book it again
Pros:

Only the fact that it was close to the American Embassy for my appointment .

Cons:

Totally overpriced for the „not good“ quality. Very out-dated and old. Dirty (dust on units and floor). Old bathroom / kitchen , not nice beds to sleep on . Would not book it again . Should cost under 100€ for the old/ poor quality . We paid a little over 200€ !

OK for a short stay but not really a holiday destination.
Pros:

The check-in went well, and staff was very friendly.

Cons:

The room had very poor blinds towards the front main road. The shower did not have a curtin and the shower head was faulty sparying water everywhere. The breakfast was also somewhat underwhelming and the room and its inventory was very dated.

Direkt neben der US Botschaft
Pros:

Das Hotel ist direkt neben der Amerikanischen Botschaft und bietet sich an, falls man einen frühen Termin bei dieser hat.

Cons:

Das Hotel lebt davon, dass es neben dem US Konsulat liegt. Es ist m.E. nicht auf wiederkehrende Besucher aus noch auf einen guten Service und dies ist auch deutlich:

- Rezeption nicht geschult, Besitzer unhöflich und leider unprofessionell. Es war auch merkwürdig, die Bestätigung der Buchung auf dem Handy vorweisen zu müssen beim Check-In. Insgesamt ist der erste Eindruck leider direkt schlecht. Hier könnte man einfach Abhilfe schaffen in Form eines professionellen Check-Ins.
- Zimmer sehr in die Jahre gekommen, teilweise dreckig. E.g. die Fernbedienung des Fernsehers regelrecht mit Dreck verkrustet
- Badezimmer: Keine Möglichkeit die Dusche zu nutzen, ohne alles unter Wasser zu setzen da es keinen Duschvorhang gibt. Der Abfluss war verstopft
- Keine Heizung im Flurbereich des Zimmers / Apartment bzw. diese ist abgestellt. Im Winter entsprechend SEHR kalt
- Das WiFi hat nicht funktioniert bzw. wurde nicht einmal angezeigt. Eventuell da ich das hinterste Zimmer hatte.

An der Rezeption kann man für eine Gebühr von €5 in bar auch Taschen / elektronische Geräte aufbewahren lassen, während man einen Termin in der US Botschaft hat (da man in diese keine elektronischen Geräte mitnehmen darf). Die Botschaft verweist auch auf das Hotel für solche Fälle. Man muss nicht im Hotel schlafen, um diesen Service in Anspruch zu nehmen.
