Highly recommend! Loved our stay!
Pros:

Amazing hotel! They upgraded our room to the sea view and it was honestly amazing. Bathroom had been updated with an amazing shower and really comfortable beds. Cleaning staff were excellent everyday. We loved the breakfast, tonnes of choice. Pool and sunbeds were fab. Location was great. We got bolts anywhere when heading out for dinner and it was really cheap, about 5-6 euro. (Lido was a really nice area for restaurants) we rented a car through the hotel and it couldn’t have been easier, car was dropped to the hotel and we just left the keys back into reception and didn’t have to pay a deposit or additional charges. Very laid back and relaxed hotel and staff were excellent. We went as a young couple and really couldn’t recommend it more!

Pros:

Apreciamos a cordialidade dos funcionários, a excelente localização e a vista privilegiada do quarto para a Baía do Funchal. O pequeno-almoço oferece ótimas opções, incluindo a disponibilidade de um cozinheiro para preparar omeletes, ovos estrelados e salsichas na hora. Este hotel clássico, mas bem conservado, é altamente recomendado. Adicionalmente, o hotel dispõe de um serviço de transporte gratuito e regular para o Funchal.

Cons:

O estacionamento interno dispõe de vagas limitadas. No estacionamento externo, seria útil uma sinalização aprimorada para o acesso ao hotel, talvez com uma escada direta.

Bellissima struttura completa di tutto, poco distante dal centro di funchal, camere ampie bellissima vista, piscina ottima, colazione completa e ricca. Servizi di pulizia camere puntuali e minuziosi.

Hotel oltre le aspettative!!!
Pros:

Posizione ottima: a 10 minuti di auto da Funchal in una zona tranquilla, panoramica e con ottimi locali nelle vicinanze. In 30/45 minuti circa si possono raggiungere i punti più interessanti dell'isola. Colazione a buffet ottima e abbondante, sia dolce che salata. Personale gentile e preparato, reception disponibile h24. Pulizia delle camere impeccabile. L'hotel dispone di un bus navetta prenotabile che fa la spola tra l'alloggio e il centro di Funchal; una piscina esterna ed interna; un ristorante a buffet ed uno alla carta "Paladar" dove si può mangiare ottimi piatti godendo di una ottima vista.

Cons:

La colazione è disponibile dalle 07:30: potrebbe essere un po' scomodo per chi visita l'isola per fare trekking e vorrebbe lasciare l'hotel al mattino molto presto.

Relaxed and comfortable stay
Pros:

After staying in a very disappointing 5-star hotel in Malta, I found this hotel to be so much better. I felt relaxed at all times and the staff were friendly and helpful. It was big enough to have lots of facilities but not too big.

Our room had a great view over Funchal and a nice wee, private balcony to sit in.
Eating breakfast outside every morning was lovely.

Many people say it is too far from the main town but we walked up and down every day. Yes, it is up hill on the way home but if you are fairly fit, it is not a long walk.
