Renovation of the pool area will be carried out from 07/10/25 to up two weeks. In this period the facility will be close. During this time, and as an alternative, guests will be able to access the swimming pools of Hotel Alto Lido and Hotel Baía Azul, subject to availability. Please note that advance booking is required for both: pool access and the shuttle service.Please inform of your expected arrival time in advance. You can use the Special Requests box when booking, or contact the property directly using the contact details in your confirmation.

Pokój z widokiem na ocean
• poziția hotelului oferă priveliști spectaculoase, iar seara oceanul se aude atât de liniștitor
• personal amabil
• doamna de la curățenie a fost mereu foarte atentă la detalii
• plaja cu nisip negru si promenada din apropiere sunt perfecte pentru relaxare
• au fost atenți cu noi ( ne am sărbătorit căsătoria )
• micul dejun și cina nu au fost diversificate ( prețul cinei este prea mare pentru ceea ce oferă 40€/persoana)
• baia ar trebui renovată ( miros neplăcut; uscătorul de par este extrem de vechi și dacă ai părul lung este imposibil sa îl poți usca; am avut și gândăcei prezenți)
• parcare cu plata la hotel 10€/ zi

Nous avons apprécié la vue, l'accès à la plage et l'équipement.
A localização, relativamente perto do Funchal mas longe da confusão, e o estacionamento gratuíto fora do hotel. Os funcionários são muito simpáticos e prestáveis, o pequeno almoço tem muita variedade, a zona da piscina com acesso à praia e ao passadiço é muito agradável e com uma vista bonita. O hotel também disponibilizou toalhas para a zona da piscina gratuitamente. Muita variedade de canais estrangeiros.
Nada a apontar, gostámos muito e quando voltarmos à Madeira, voltaremos a reservar aqui a estadia.

V okolí je hodně holubů, tak pozor na sušení oblečení na balkóně.
Overall, the hotel was good and comfortable for our stay. The pool area was nice, clean and relaxing, and it was convenient that the hotel provided pool towels free of charge. We also liked that the hotel had parking available - it was paid, but still very practical and convenient, especially if you travel around Madeira by car.
The hotel itself felt calm and suitable for a relaxing stay. It is not in the most central part of Funchal, but this also makes the area quieter. For guests who have a car or do not mind using transport, it can be a good option.
The breakfast was quite standard, similar to what you usually get in many European hotels. It was okay, but it was almost the same every day, so after a few days it felt a bit repetitive and could be more varied.
The location was not the most convenient for visiting the main places in Funchal, as the hotel is a bit far from the city centre and the main attractions. It is better if you have a car or are ready to use taxis or public transport.
