Renovation of the pool area will be carried out from 07/10/25 to up two weeks. In this period the facility will be close. During this time, and as an alternative, guests will be able to access the swimming pools of Hotel Alto Lido and Hotel Baía Azul, subject to availability. Please note that advance booking is required for both: pool access and the shuttle service.Please inform of your expected arrival time in advance. L'accueil est super ! La vue est juste fabuleuse et vraiment un gros plus pour l'accès à la plage.
Les chambres sont spacieuses mais un peu austères...

Room was lovely and the view was stunning and the sound of the sea magical. The staff were lovely and very helpful. It was my birthday while i was there and they sent up a complimentary bottle of wine which was a lovely surprise. A lovely romantic setting . Adults only which was great.There was a bus spot right outside the hotel with brought you into funchal which was very convenient
The fridge in the room could have been better as it was in a press which it shouldn't have been as it was over heating so drinks weren't that cold at times found keeping door of unit opened helped but do think better fridge is need so you can put your own drinks in.. the breakfast was ok but never overly hot. And the pastries were always over cooked. Room service menu not great either.. we only eat in evening once and didn't like the food myself and my husband ordered two different beef dishes but the both came out the same

Everything was perfect
It îs a wonderfuk adults only hotel facing the ocean and extremely clean. Staff were wonderful from the moment we stepped in.

Die Parkplatz für unser Autos war eine Zumutung.

There should be warning on this hotel that you need 6 approx 110 steps and steep slope to get to the pool, beach and prom. Nice pool and plenty of sun beds.
Rooms are clean and a decent size. Large bed but far too hard, had to sleep on top of duvet. TV too small to see from bed.
No dressing table stool or small table.
Rubbish hairdryer Had, a strong coiled up lead may be ok if you are left handed and stand right up to the wall.
Breakfast same each day and 40 euros if you want the evening buffet which seemed expensive compared with other places.
No atmosphere to bar more like cafe needs breaking up into areas with plants etc, no stage, basic entertainment.
Good if you book free mini bus into Funchal runs 4 times a day or you can get bus for 2 euros.
Lovely fishing village approx 30 minute walk. Has lovely restaurants. We went a few times. Or approx 1 hour to walk to edge of Funchal.

Proximidade à praia
Estivemos 4 noites em São Vicente noutro alojamento e a ultima noite ficamos neste hotel para estarmos mais proximos do Funchal. So tenho a dizer que deveriamos ter ficado as noites todas no outro alojamento...
Nao tivemos possibilidade de deixar o carro estacionado dentro do recinto do hotel, tivemos que estacionar na estrada que é bastante movimentada.
No geral nao correspondeu de todo as expectativas e muito menos ao valor pago.

• poziția hotelului oferă priveliști spectaculoase, iar seara oceanul se aude atât de liniștitor
• personal amabil
• doamna de la curățenie a fost mereu foarte atentă la detalii
• plaja cu nisip negru si promenada din apropiere sunt perfecte pentru relaxare
• au fost atenți cu noi ( ne am sărbătorit căsătoria )
• micul dejun și cina nu au fost diversificate ( prețul cinei este prea mare pentru ceea ce oferă 40€/persoana)
• baia ar trebui renovată ( miros neplăcut; uscătorul de par este extrem de vechi și dacă ai părul lung este imposibil sa îl poți usca; am avut și gândăcei prezenți)
• parcare cu plata la hotel 10€/ zi
