De locatie is prachtig en midden in het dorp

Als ik 1 dag mag opmerken: een mogelijkheid op de kamer om zelf koffie en thee te maken zou heel fijn zijn.

I would definitely stay again as good value for money and well run.
Pros:

Reception staff were excellent. Rooms were large, comfortable and clean. Location very central but not noisy.

Cons:

Hotel restaurant looks good inside and outside by the river, but we did not eat there as tables were full of crumbs and glasses so made me think service could be poor. Many other good restaurants in Arenas anyway.

Would recommend, great place, comfortable lounge and dining.
Pros:

Staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful. The fact that it had a pool was great for relaxing.

Cons:

We had a top room that didn’t have a window view but a skylight. The window was at the side.

Nice stay at the gate to Picos
Pros:

Location is central in Arenas de Cabrales - close to restaurants, supermarket, bus stop into Picos, tourist information. The staff is super nice. First we got a room facing the street and it was much too loud for us - they made an effort to find us a new room. The new room was facing the river, and while the river was quite loud too, it was a calming sound. The rooms were clean and adequately sized.
We didn't use the pool, as it was quite cold, but it looked clean and we saw it being cleaned daily. There is a super tiny parking just next to the entrance, but do not worry if you don't find a place there - they have another one at the back of the building. To open it you already need the room card, so you can't get there without checking in first. The road to that parking is also quite narrow, so beware.
If you want an early breakfast, there are 2 cafes nearby open from 7am (August). The hotel has a restaurant, but we didn't use it.
Internet was good and reliable.
Overall a good place to stay.

Cons:

The only thing which really irritated me were ancient door cards - 1 minute next to the mobile phone and the card stopped working, every time it touched the phone. You couldn't put them in the handbag together.
As I wrote before, some rooms are quite loud - if you're a light sleeper, definitely do not take the ones overlooking the street. The corridor had a bit of a strange smell, perhaps something they used for cleaning.
Also, no fridges in the room.
We also didn't find Arenas de Cabrales super pretty, but it has a variety of food options, good tourist information, supermarkets and pharmacy, so if you want to be close to civilization, it's a good place to stay.

Fantastic base to explore the peaks
Pros:

Amazing place to stay and explore the area. Staff could not have been more accommodating and helpful, they created such a relaxing and welcoming atmosphere. We were here to hike the Ruta del Cares and this was the perfect base. Breakfast was excellent and the dip in the pool after our hike was so refreshing. If you’re coming by car then be aware that the hotel has a private car park close to the hotel but reachable through a narrow road, on arrival it is fine to park outside for a short time while you check-in.

La amabilidad del personal y la limpieza, habitaciones impolutas.
La habitacion cuenta con todo lo que necesitas.

Cons:

Las almohadas, es como dormir sin almohada y despues de varios dias lo notas en cuello y espalda y duermes mal.
