Location, friendly staff (Oscar), clean, breakfast.
Entering to the room was not the most convenient thing to do. Corner room limited space.
Frukosten var dålig. Rummet behövde rustas upp.
Rummet var alldeles för litet. Fick knappt plats med väskan. Krävs lite upprustning. Till min kompis handfat kom det inget vatten.
Die Unterkunft ist sehr zentral gelegen. Zum bekannten Pier waren es rund 5 min zu Fuß und auch Einkaufsmöglichkeiten sowie Pubs und Restaurants waren in unmittelbarer Umgebung vorhanden. Das Parken an der Straße war in unserem Fall kein Problem und wir haben direkt vor der Unterkunft einen Parkplatz erhalten. Es handelt sich hierbei jedoch nicht um kostenfreie Parkplätze, sondern um öffentliche Parkplätze, welche im Zeitraum von 9 Uhr morgens bis 8 Uhr abends kostenpflichtig sind.
Unser Zimmer lag im Dachgeschoss, war jedoch für eine Nacht ausreichend. Die vielen und steilen Treppen waren mit entsprechendem Gepäck jedoch eine Herausforderung, da ein Fahrstuhl nicht vorhanden ist. Aufgrund der Wetterbedingungen (über 30 Grad und Schwüle) glich das Zimmer einer Sauna. Zwar verfügte es über einen Ventilator, doch auch dieser und das offene Fenster konnten keine Abkühlung schaffen. Zudem liegt das Hotel, wie bereits erwähnt, sehr zentral und in einer belebten Gegend. Dadurch war die Nacht nicht nur von extremer Hitze, sondern auch von Lärm gekennzeichnet. Trotz dieser widrigen Umstände möchten wir die Sauberkeit des Zimmers sowie die außerordentliche Freundlichkeit des Personals hervorheben. Wir haben uns sehr willkommen gefühlt und das Hotel kann ja schließlich nichts für eine solche Extremwetterlage. Für eine Nacht war unser Zimmer vollkommen ausreichend.
Abschließend ist noch das Frühstück positiv hervorzuheben. Es bestand eine Wahlmöglichkeit zwischen verschiedenen Optionen (Full-englisch, Eiervariationen usw.), die sehr köstlich waren.
From the comfort of the beds, to the cleanliness of the room, and finally the excellent breakfast and the kindness and professionalism of Oscar, I'd recommend this hotel to everyone wanting to visit Brighton. I'm convinced you'll be just as satisfied as we were. It's wonderful to find something like this in such a great location. Wonderful.
It was close to the beach
The room was on the small side
The breakfast was very good - a la carte. The staff brought us extra food and drinks when asked. There is a choice of cereal,fruit,yoghurt to help yourself and juices. Hot food is ordered.
The view from the outside of the hotel is great as you can see the sea!

The location is excellent. The beach,restaurants,cafes, places of interest were all walking distance.
The room itself was really small - not what it looked like on the photograph.
The tv,when on, was too dark and we couldn't brighten it with the remote?
The bathroom had tiny shower gel/shampoo bottles and there were not any hooks to hang clothes on or a shower- shelf to place bathing toiletries.
The curtain was already broken - but came off the runner when we pulled it open. We told the staff in the morning,but they didn't replace it - only took the old one away. It was a Sunday.
The bed was too soft - for me.
Super Lage, sauber, tolles Personal. Frühstück war sehr lecker. Sehr zu empfehlen.
La posizione e comunque la gentilezza del ragazzo alla colazione che faceva il possibile per accontentare le richieste..
Bagno minuscolo..caldo soffocante e nonostante la richiesta di un altro ventilatore in quanto quello presente non funzionava ci è stato ridato probabilmente lo stesso perché era identico al precedente.Organizzazione colazione alla carta ridicola..per avere delle brioche (è scritto anche sul menù ) devi attendere 30 minuti quando ci sono!!! Ritengo che non possa essere considerata una struttura 4 stelle (!!!) ..in Italia avrebbe 1 stella..Purtroppo quanto risulta su booking non corrisponde alla realtà della struttura..non ci tornerei .

The hotel is very well located with a short walk to the centre of the city of Brighton. The room was very clean with a built-in shower. The colleague got a fan out as it was the hottest day so far this year. The value was really good for Brighton in the summer.
I had my own locked toilet, but it was two short flights of stairs down from my room. The booking stated there was a shared bathroom, but it meant a separĺlate toilet. I just had to walk down, so it's not a big drama, and it was very clean and tidy with my own key. I would stay in this room again and this hotel. This is for information to other guests as the other rooms have facilities available for guests in the rooms
The location and the viewing from the window from the room were the things that I liked.
First of all, I booked a double room for myself and my partner and the room in the picture wasn't the one I paid for, it wasn't worth the money(149£ for one night)- too small, the bathroom too tiny as well, if you stretch a bit you risk breaking into the neighbours' room;btw the neighbours room was the proper decent room( the one right next to ours)- nice, spacious, the bed was big enough to fit two people( we were a couple, I paid for 2 adults ! ). The ,, double,, bed had some hard pillows that would give you neck pain
The pictures of the rooms are misleading! They trick you into booking a nice room but give you a lousy room!
Very friendly staff, very clean, excellent location. Showed where to park on arrival with a discounted pass. Lovely comfy bed. Excellent breakfast.

We were lucky and were given a room at the front of property opposite the green grass square with a small balcony which we could go out on and had a sea view. Staff were very friendly & efficient, breakfast had good choices.
We had trouble getting in when we arrived so just make sure front bell is repaired!
