Not all bad, but not up to modern standards
Pros:

The staff were friendly and welcoming.
It was very helpful having a lift.
The dinning room was comfortable, the service and food good.

Cons:

Our room was stark and uninviting. On first entering we thought that we must be in the wrong room. A 4ft 6” double bed is unusual in modern hotels. There was no additional bed cover - all very drab. The shower head dropped and there were some signed of black mould around the base.

A good location. Comfortable rooms. Good showers. Clean.A good stopover.

The breakfast was good. Good choice. Topping up the fresh fruit bowl more quicklt would have been good.

logistically good position outside Inverness to start car travel to the north

Although the hotel is quite dated , it has a lift , good services, and an unexpected exceptional full breakfast cooked to order. overall would repeat the experience, perhaps without the surprise on arrival

Cons:

When we arrived there has been a dangerous situation : our rooms had been given to other customers arrived earlier , and to our big luck we have been re accomodated, as there were rooms available ...BUT ...our request for rooms to be close to reception and to each other , to avoid walking , that we cannot afford too much had obviouly been unattended due to the emergency. The parking is public along the road in front of the hotel. luck in finding one spot free is essential.

Bien para una noche
Pros:

La habitación era muy grande y la ducha también. El hotel tenía un restaurante bar abajo con precios razonables. Parking gratuito en la puerta. Desayuno bueno y abundante.

Cons:

Cama un poco pequeña y no muy cómoda. El pueblo no tenía mucha cosa.
