We loved our two days at 54 Wueens Gate.
Pros:

Very tastefully decorated and comfortable. Staff were friendly and efficient. Breakfast was delicious.

Cons:

No dining facilities for evening meal.

Nice hotel in a great location.
Pros:

Staff on the reception desk at check-in was very welcoming and helpful. Room was a decent size for the price in central London. An excellent location for the Royal Albert Hall, Natural History Museum and V&A.

Cons:

Found the bed uncomfortable; felt like the springs were digging into my hips when I slept on my side. My husband didn't suffer with the same problem though! Thought the room to be a bit cold.

Great spot, grand building, nice staff
Pros:

Very nice staff, good breakfast, clean, good coffee machine, great location

Cons:

Single room is small but adequate. Bathroom clean and good shower pressure but stairs down make it hard to go down without a rail if you have any mobility issues.

Pros:

great location for what was needed.
did not take breakfast
room location was tricky, who knew '31' was actually room '13'.......would help on landings to show room #'s and directions
v quiet , no outside noise, even on a saturday night !
v comfortable bed, i like firmer
nice touch in room for a good coffee machine and water and a kettle

Would definitely use this hotel again, but I hope you improve the breakfast menu.
Pros:

Hotel itself was excellent. Clean and welcoming. Reception staff were friendly and helpful.

Cons:

Breakfast was disappointing. No beans, tomatoes or hash browns available. Dining room staff were not very friendly or helpful.
Check-out time of 11:00 is rather early, most hotels have noon as the standard.

Missing Wallet and Serious Concerns About Hotel Security
I stayed at this hotel on September 2026. Shortly after checking out, I discovered that my wallet, containing approximately JPY 120,000, was missing. Within an hour of leaving the hotel, two cards from my wallet were used fraudulently.
Despite my detailed reports, the hotel's investigation provided no explanation.
I strongly suspect possible involvement by someone associated with the hotel, although I have no proof.
I am extremely disappointed with the management's response and have completely lost trust in this hotel. I will never stay here again.

Okay hotel, great location.
Pros:

Great location and clean.

Cons:

We were upgraded to a bigger room but on the lower floor. Early morning we could hear a chair being moved about constantly and if we kept the bathroom door shut after a shower, it smelt very mouldy and damp.

Für einen Wochenendaufenthalt sehr zu empfehlen
Pros:

Die elegante, unaufdringliche Zimmereinrichtung und das Ambiente im Hotel. Das Personal an der Rezeption war auch immer sehr freundlich. Das Hotel ist auch gut an Underground und Busse angebunden.

Cons:

Für einen längeren Aufenthalt zu Zweit wäre mein Zimmer zu klein gewesen.
