- You need to give the keys to the receptionist every time you leave the hotel. I had to do this at least 7 times in 1 day
The location was superb right in the centre. The staff were polite friendly and showed care which was very positive. The room was good, the bed was very good and it was clean.

Near to train station and centre
Noise from outside went on all night but it was in the city centre I guess
The location was excellent- very central and made walking both down to the Bay and up to the castle and national museum very manageable. Alison was very friendly and helpful. The beds were comfy, and there was plenty of hot water. Everywhere was scrupulously clean, and the price was very welcome.
The room faced the main street which was very noisy - and the heat (we were in Cardiff on the hottest day so far this year) meant we kept the windows open and curtains closed, which didn't help. However there was a fan in the room.
The decor is dated but serviceable, as was the bathroom suite.
