Great location and lots of character
Pros:

The room was comfortable and the air conditioning was great in the very hot weather. The location was fantastic. There was an excellent selection of cafes and restaurants nearby and was a reasonably short walk to Victoria Station.

Cons:

No elevator meant carrying our bags up 3 and 4 floors. One room was on the third floor and the other on the fourth floor despite requesting rooms near each other, There were a few things broken in the room : bathroom door and TV had problems.

Fine, short work from Victoria station ans cheap for the area at late notice

Dirty socks from previous guest hanging over door for 2 nights and dried phlegm in bathroom mirror.

Great location and friendly staff.
Pros:

Nice location and very close to attractions and major station. Staff were friendly and the room was clean.

Cons:

The AC kept turning off every 20 mins or so, which made it difficult sleeping during a heatwave - I had to wake up every so often to turn it back on again after waking up hot! The room was very small, however it did the job for one night and is understandable due to the building type.
