ALTHOUGH CENTRAL TO VICTORIA STATION AND PRICE WAS OK FOR ONE NIGHT , NO QUALITY OR STANDARDS

THE ROOM WAS VERY DATED , DOUBLE BED HAD STAINS ON BASE THAT YOU COULD SEE .
NO MATTERESS OR PILLOW PROTECTORS USED .
BAD SMELL WITHIN ROOM.
THE BREAKFAST ROOM WAS TOO CRAMPED , BREAKFAST WASNT TOO GOOD COLD TOAST , SAUSAGE WAS A HOT DOG SAUSAGE .
THE HOTEL IS UNDER TAKING RENEVATIONS , THEY7 SHOULD CLOSE WHILE THESE ARE BEING DONE.
DIDNT FEEL CLEAN WHEN YOU WALKED IN ,
TELEVISION WAS HIT AND MISS WHEN CHANGING CHANNELS,
VERY DATED QUILT COVER , NOTHINGH MATCHED IN THE ROOM.
THE DOOR INTO THE ROOM DIDNT MAKE YOO WANT TO ENTRE THE ROOM.

The hotel provided what I wanted and expected.
Pros:

I wanted a low cost hotel close to Victoria station for one night. The Stanley House Hotel provided just that. It was basic but clean and what I expected.

Cons:

Bathroom. Shower over bath wall bracket broken. did hold the shower rose. No hot water in the basin. Bed uncomfortable. no cups or glasses. No in room kettle in room..A hotel absolutely not!!! Noise from rooms above.basement room

It was a place to sleep

Cons:

Arrived and our room was ready, locked the room and 4 times the cleaning staff unlocked the door despite having a note on saying do not disturb.

Had to leave hotel key in reception everytime we left the hotel.

Breakfast: cramped into 1 small room and made to share tables with other guests.

Ubicación, 20 minutos del Buckinham.

Cons:

Desayuno. Todos los días huevo, habichuelas tostadas , salchichas, café frío y jugo de naranja azucarado. En el Baño no ponían casi papel, ni jabón y hasta toalla. Habitación no tenía teléfono y había que bajar 4 pisos para buscar las cosas de higiene. Hacía calor. No aire acondicionado.

Die relative Nähe zu Victoria Station.

Cons:

Das Zimmer (Nr. 44) war klein, im 3. Stock ohne Aufzug. Überall mehr oder weniger schmuddelige Teppichböden, zugiges Fenster. Kein beaufsichtigter oder abgesperrter Gepäckraum. Viel zu kleiner Frühstückssaal. Auch am Wochenende Frühstück nur bis 9 Uhr. Darauf kann man aber ohnehin verzichten: Löslicher Kaffee, billiger O-Saft, 2 Scheiben Toast, schlabbriges Spiegelei, billigste Beans, undefinierbares Würstchen. Glücksfall, wenn Milch und Butter verfügbar, selbst auf heißes Wasser für Kaffee muss man warten.
