Lovely back views, room bathroom nice drinks bics water Friendly staff
Pros:

(We have been to the folk festival for years in a camper van (Rugby club )and played concertinas M-F mornings Just after my lovely husband died a friend said come and stay in her van all the time( I only drive locally ) The last 2 yrs I have stayed partly 2 other hotels and camper Due to changes I wasn’t going to come At the last 2 weeks My sons managed to get me to the Victoria I didn’t have breakfast as we thought it was included Also it’s lonely expensive Mon was a rush walking for 9:15 at the church at the top of the town then we stay around the town

We had a relaxing break and enjoyed using the outdoor heated pool, the staff were all welcoming and very pleasant

Not great - have been here a few times before and visit with the in laws for lunch regularly

Cons:

Room had no working sockets - was too warm (windows opened an inch or so) and when we told staff about the non working sockets - they did nothing

Another great holiday
Pros:

This was our ninth visit to the Victoria and, as always, they did not disappoint us in any aspect. Love this hotel and ALL the people who work so very hard there to make our stay memorable.

Traditional customer service, friendly staff, relaxing environment
Pros:

The quality of the dining experience was excellent. The staff were friendly and professional. The hotel has old world grandeur and is in a lovely location with exceptional sea views.

Bloody Marvellous
Pros:

Beautiful building and ground, all kept impeccably clean right down the the brass work on the entrance being shined daily.
Rooms luxurious, fantastic sea views from ours. Fresh flower and a bottle of bubbly greeted us along with tea, coffee, biscuits, bottled water and fresh milk which were all replenished daily.
Food was a real treat, all freshly cooked using quality ingredients from varied and imaginative menus.
Outside pool was a godsend as we were in a heatwave. Decent size with plenty of loungers, tables and chairs served by its own bar.
Best of all though are the staff, happy, friendly, good sense of humour and nothing too much trouble.
We have already decided to go back later in the year.

You get what you pay for
Pros:

Fantastic service from start to finish. Outdoor pool was lovely in the hot weather and evening dinner was tasty with good (not large portions but we don't want that - we want good food but don't need lots of it) Hopefully we'll be back. All staff were amazing.

Fabulous stay in Sidmouth
Pros:

The whole feel.of the hotel and staff. The room was comfy and the feed was excellent. Really enjoyed spa and lido too.
