The room was drained but the air conditioning was broken and the windows could not be opened, we cooked, only because I gave a low rating

Quiet area

Cons:

There was nothing at the time of booking which indicated that the hotel was undergoing major refurbishing. When I arrived, the hotel reception had been shifted to an alternative entrance with a makeshift front desk barely big enough to accommodate a laptop. There was plastic on the floor from the refurbishing which was under way. One got the impression that instead of closing down to undergo refurbishing, the management kept the hotel running while works were in full swing. It would have been fairer to advise people of this temporary inconvenience prior to booking.

location and it was quiet

Cons:

carpet was dirty, I needed to go and buy slippers,like it wasn’t hoovered properly,dusty,lot of hair on the carpet,and what not , weird smell from the toilet , flush button was broken so it was awkward to press it , when I arrived, male member of staff was on video call with some girl, hardly paying attention that I arrived , he didn’t stop talking over the phone just asked me for my name and handed me key.. very rude ,didn’t like that at all. Some basic manners would be nice , to greet customer properly, I felt like I am interrupting something…
