Very modern
All of it. It was ultra clean, very comfortable and the staff were lovely.
There was nothing to complain about
What a lovely surprise while hiking the Coast to Coast. This hotel was so clean and comfortable; very modern. The food was great. Highly recommend!
Fantastic location situated close to the North York moors with stunning scenery with the Hotel feeling like it fitted in just right with that. Quiet and unobtrusive with a nice relaxing atmosphere, further complemented with the lovely decor and friendly staff who where very helpful in all aspects but we're not pushy with the service like you get at some places, and my wife and I felt so relaxed and unrushed without the staff dropping a top notch service. The food was also fantastic, and very well presented, with the portions just right. Although we didn't initially book evening dinner prior to arrival, the staff managed to accommodate us with a table during the busy evenings over the weekend, and even though it was busy, thanks to the excellent service, surroundings and atmosphere, it felt more unrushed and relaxing. Thankyou all for our lovely stay.
Nothing to not like.
Beautiful hotel , excellent value , decor is stunning .. Had evening meal which was lovely .. Shower great, room had everything , comfy bed , fresh milk on arrival , staff lovely .. Will definitely stay again .
Nothing
Zo mooi gestyled, luxe douche en hele goede bedden. Het eten was heerlijk en het personeel super vriendelijk en betrokken.
Niks op te merken.
Beautifully renovated to a very high standard. Comfortable rooms with high quality facilities and super friendly & helpful staff. We ate in the restaurant, which was excellent and had a quality breakfast the next morning. Highly recommend as great value for money and a lovely place to stay. I will be back next time I take a trip to the North York Moors.
Nothing
The room was clean comfortable but lacked enough coffee and milk. Having to ask for more.
We ate an evening meal which was perfection
We were looked after very well at breakfast which was very good
As above milk and coffee or lack of
Paid for breakfast on arrival then charged again on departure, I checked my reciept from arrival and then reinbursed.
Just hassle i did not need as i had a long drive back to Sussex
Staff very friendly and welcoming
Evening meal excellent
Given a bottle with fresh milk for the tea/coffee
Great choice of tea bags and Nespresso coffees
Very tiny room with disabled bathroom - sink so small couldn't get a decent wash. Very small double bed
No mirror in bedroom which spoilt the fact that there was a Dyson hairdryer as couldn't see to dry my hair
Room right next to kitchen extractor fans so very noisy. Also very noisy guest upstairs was walking very heavily on a hard floor at 6.30am on Sunday morning :(
The hotel had been beautifully refurbished and the layout was excellent. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful.
The room was extremely hot and had no air conditioning which made for an uncomfortably hot night even with 2 electric fans. Unfortunately you could only open the windows 6 inches so there was no way to cool the room.
It’s a beautiful building that has been tastefully refurbished to a high standard. Lots of classy touches in the rooms and restaurants with the lovely town of Stokesley nearby. The staff were friendly and helpful especially at reception in every area really. There is plentiful parking on site and it seems a popular place for locals and visitors alike. I would definitely stay here again .
There was nothing to dislike.
Very helpful and friendly staff. The walkers pickup service was fabulous, quick, clean and prompt. Food was good and their in-house IPA was welcome after a day of walking. Packed lunches offered.
Ive been here 5+ times since its been refurbed.Absolutely phenomenal place to stay for a few nights if not longer. Great location, luxury finishing, dining and drink, everything is great here
What a treasure. The Hotel itself if spotless and very stylish. The food is brilliant and the staff are probably the friendliest I have come across in a Hotel.
I would give it 6 stars, at least!
Very well appointed hotel with super restaurant for supper.
Great option to get a complimentary lift to / from the Coast to Coast footpath that passes on the nearby ridge
Pricey for a one night stay.
A drying room would be helpful for wet walkers’ boots etc
Nice clean hotel with lots of parking, good food and excellent friendly service
Nothing springs to mind
