After a lot of online searching I found the perfect hotel for my needs at good value for money
Pros:

Excellent location, only a 5 minute walk from Victoria Station. My room looked like it had been recently renovated. Very clean, smart and a decent size with a window. Can't fault it!

This was perfect for my needs of a quick overnight stay and the hotel was able to hold my bag for me
Pros:

I asked for a room that would be quiet (i.e. away from traffic and rail noise as well as internal stair, corridor and lift noise) and the hotel was able to accommodate that.

Cons:

The single rooms were very small and on the same level as the budget hotels that advertise their rooms as such, so it would have been good to know the size of teh room to be ablate make a direct comparison with the budget hotel chains.

Pros:

Staff were friendly and attentive and helped make the stay pleasant. Access to nearby Victoria station for easy transport options. Some sights you can walk to. Lots of options for supermarkets, laundry, food nearby. Great location.
