OYO Bakers Hotel London Victoria

This so called "hotel" is the worst place we've ever been to. If you're with luggage - you'll have to carry it upstairs by yourself by small and narrow staircase. The room was a nightmare - small, no ventilation, dirty and stuffy. There was no AC, only a fan which didn't actually help because there was no ventilation in room. Toilet was horribly dirty as if it's never been cleaned. There were stains everywhere, including curtains, bedsheets were old and we found a strange looking thing in it, see photos attached. Window is bolted shut so you can't open it, besides it was awfully dirty. The receptionist was totally unprofessional, we felt like we intruded someone's house instead of the hotel. We spent around 2 hours there and decided to leave, the receptionist didn't seem to be bothered, casually offered us to see another room (which as he claimed was the same). We immediately booked another hotel, Eurostar Traveller, which was a proper 4* hotel with included breakfast but significantly cheaper than this ridiculous place.
We are shocked with the rating of the hotel and now are more cautious as a result.
We regret the amount of money spent on it.

Reservamos una habitación triple, en teoría triple de luxe. Cuando llegamos al hotel, el recepcionista, muy amable, nos indicó que la habitación estaba bajando las escaleras, en un sótano. La habitación era mínima, con el espacio justo para pasar una persona entre las camas y el baño también minúsculo. La única ventana daba a un patio lleno de maleza y muy pequeño. Le comentamos al recepcionista que no nos gustaba y que si podía alojarnos en otra habitación. Nos dijo que esa noche tendríamos que dormir ahí, nos enseñó otra habitación de la primera planta, que nos gustó, y comentó que hablaría con los huéspedes que se alojaban en esa habitación para que ellos pasarán a la nuestra y nosotros ocupar a la suya. Decidimos poner en conocimiento de booking el incidente con la habitación, porque sabíamos que nadie iba a querer cambiar su habitación por nuestro zulo. Booking accedió a cancelar la reserva y nos fuimos a otro hotel.

Room had old rubbish in bin and dirty sediment in toilet. Beds were incredibly lumpy, hard and uncomfortable. Old flat pillows and very heavy duvets. Tiny window that barely opened and no air conditioning so the room was very hot. Bathroom extractor fan didn’t work and tv remote didn’t either.

No lift

Tengo una amplia lista:
- no cerraba bien el pestillo del baño
- a veces se abría sola la puerta de la habitación
- el trato en recepción muy malo
- el baño olía muy mal
- la ventana no se podía abrir, no se podía ventilar la habitación
- la tela no funcionaba
- el desayuno "buffet" era realmente un croissant caducado y manzanas
- ....
