Georgian House Hotel

I was in their Bower House building, right around the corner from the main building. Lovely historic buildings. Great location if you're traveling via Victoria Station or Victoria Coach Station, and fairly easy walk to the sights in Westminster. The neighborhood (Pimlico) is very nice, with lots of local businesses nearby.

I give this hotel a good (4-star) rating, but here are some things to be aware of: As always in Britain and Europe, a single room is very small compared to the U.S., where single and double rooms are the same size. Also, as is often the case, there is no wash cloth or facial tissue in the room. (However, I did stay in other hotels on this trip that did provide those.) And like many hotels where the breakfast was not included in my rate, the hotel breakfast would be (in my opinion) unreasonably expensive (why pay $25 when I can go to a nearby cafe and pay $12?) Also, like many historic hotels, there is no air conditioning, which is clearly now a problem in Britain/Europe in the summer. I stayed in other historic hotels on this trip that did have air con. I think for future summer trips I will only book those with air con. But, London is a very expensive city for hotels, and the price was pretty good, so I was overall happy with my stay.

Небольшие нюансы малюсенькие комнаты, нет лифта и при этом персонал особо не помогает с чемоданами и нет кондиционера (это безусловно скорее норма для исторических зданий Лондона но в жаркие дни тяжело спать)

La gentilezza degli operatori

Das Zimmer war sehr schön eingerichtet und sauber. Wir hatten ein Zimmer mit Blick in den Hinterhof, daher war es sehr ruhig. Das Badezimmer ist eher neu renoviert und auch sehr sauber.

Das Personal war sehr höflich und hilfsbereit.

Die Lage war top. Zur Victoria Station waren es nur knapp 8 Minuten zu Fuss.

Das Zimmer war sehr aussergewöhnlich eingerichtet. Sehr gut für Harry Potter Fans.
Das Frühstück hat eher eine kleine Auswahl, war aber sehr gut.

We stayed here 4 nights. I’ll start with the negative side. We were on the 5th floor. There is no lift. It was very hot during our stay and having to climb 50+ steps after a long day out was not an ideal way to end the day . The good parts are that the location is just a few blocks from the Victoria Coach Station. The area seemed safe and was very quiet at night. There were good number of restaurants within easy walking distance. The staff carried our luggage up to the room on check in and down on check out.

Georgian House Hotel is a quaint, gorgeous little hotel, with fantastic staff and picture perfect decor.

It is located in central London, close to some lovely restaurants, Sloane Square, and the Pimlico Road and Elizabeth Street, which is gorgeous. Two train stations also very close.

Perfect if you need to stay somewhere nice and central in London!

My best friend and I (both in early 40's) stayed in the Twin Chamber Room for 2 nights in late July 2026. We were nervous with the heatwave that the room would have been too warm due to no AC in the hotel - but it was absolutely fine - and the room was absolutely magical and a perfect end to our trip. Hotel staff were very accommodating and pleasant.

Great location, lovely hotel, lovely decor, super comfy beds! Nice and clean too and yummy breakfast aswell as a super easy and quick check in and out process with great times for both check in and check out, also very thankful for allowing us to leave our suitcases once checked out.

I stay at the Georgian House Hotel whenever I am working in London. The staff are always courteous and helpful. The rooms are comfortable and equipped with everything I need. Breakfast is terrific. A busy but quiet, pleasant area not far from Victoria Station with supermarkets, various shops and lots of eateries within easy walking distance. For me it is home from home.
