More continental options and hot breakfast made to order
Quaint, charming facility with old world feel.
No elevator so multiple twists and turns to get our bags to our room but front desk offered help without asking.
Excellent location. Nice old fashioned hotel with excellent staff
No hot water on one morning when boiler broke down, but fixed quickly.
Lovely classic styled Scottish styled hotel with modern bathrooms. Wonderfully accommodating and friendly staff. A little gem of history. What’s there not to love! (Try the classic lift)

The area was nice and people were very friendly
When I arrived she ask me if she could help. I said I have a booking she said 2 minutes and booked the people from Germany in left me and my daughter standing with a new born baby. Then give us a room with a pram having to lift it up stairs, my daughter just had a c section and me having chronic pain I constantly had to climb 4 flight of stairs due to the lift being busy and very small. My dog being 13 also struggled. I went down asked for a cot as it wasn't in the room, she replied I don't have any at is point I was ready to give the key back and go home. Then she said leave with me, finely a lovely woman brought at cot got settled for the night. I wouldn't stay here again its not worth the money and its not suitable for prams and wheelchairs.

A very comfortable, clean and well run hotel

The hotel was lovely and in a perfect location. Our room was great and it was spotlessly clean. Lovely big bathroom with beautiful hand soap, moisturiser and the softest, fluffiest towels. Breakfast was pricey but it was lovely and there was a huge choice of food, cereals etc.
It's so hard for hotels to survive these days and the staff work so hard and such long hours but there was only one minor little thing. We had to leave a day early as my husband wasn't well and when checking out, the receptionist didn't even ask why we were checking out early. Like I say, minor and it wouldn't stop me staying there again.
The hotel is lovely and grand in a historic highland way. Lots of space and the staff were so friendly, accommodating and super helpful.
I would stay here again but I’d look for it on offer as it was quite expensive.

It was all good location staff and the hotel it self we had no complaints 👌
Nothing all was good.
Clearly extensively refurbished, including furniture carpets and decor, with a comfortable bar which is well stocked. All staff without exception were cheerful and helpful.
Rooms were cleaned and tidied daily and the whole building was spotlessly clean.
It wasn’t always possible to book a table in the restaurant due to staff shortages and the evening menu wasn’t very extensive however this was in contrast to the excellent breakfast which was both of good quality and good value fr money
