A comfortable room in a good location.
Pros:

The location is great, the bed was comfortable and a good base for a time in London. A good selection of tea, coffee and milk with a kettle. Shampoo and shower gel provided and nice towels.

Cons:

The finishes in the room aren’t the best - a gap between the carpet and the bathroom floor, the TV wasn’t tuned to any channels, the clothes rail was wonky and looked like it was about to fall over, the string with the blind is too high.
Also a fridge in the room would be a great touch.

Sentralt og praktisk sted å bo for en kort periode.
Pros:

Bra beliggenhet. Funker for 1-2 netter. Lett å sjekke inn. Får melding med kode til inngangsdør og rom.

Cons:

Veldig lytt. Lite og trangt rom. Var ikke varmtvann i dusjen.

Disappointing and not at the location where I expected and no real receptiondesk
Pros:

Plus side: shops, transport and Hyde Park itself and although not real reception the contact via WhatsApp was pretty quick and friendly.

Cons:

I would not recommend this hotel and most rooms are more self catering and the reception is via WhatsApp or the Ring doorbell and not as advertised.

Check where you will stay because not all rooms are at Griffin House Hotel!

The pictures are very nice but misleading for some rooms. Our 2 bed apartment is dingy and falling apart. No cleaning and no fresh towels and we were there for a whole week.

As said, our 2 bed apartment and other rooms are not at Griffin House Hotel itself. I always use Streetview and that is why I picked the hotel. No restaurant and noise... And yet we have stayed above a Iraqi restaurant with noise from said place because of the terrace and there is an extractor fan that is extremely loud and high pitched and non stop (used noise cancellation headphones for a week). We were in the top floor but could hear it through the stairwell and windows if we wanted something fresh air.

The apartment could use an once over because it was not very clean and the shower and kitchen taps are lose. The kitchen has no pans (just pan kids) and there are 3 or 4 off cutlery and bowls/plates but most are damaged. Stains on furniture and broken back of a chair. Weird smell from bathroom and dodgy wifi that was mostly not working which is not handy with the reception being wifi wased/at other location.

In short not what I expected from the pictures and the location near Hyde Park and no real reception.

Pros:

Établissement bien situé, proche des transports en commun. Les lits sont confortable. L’accueil était toutefois correct.

Cons:

En arrivant dans la chambre les draps étaient sales tacheter de marque jaune, de même pour toutes les serviettes (x6) tachés … la salle de bain était également mal faite, traces sur la cuvette des toilettes, savon sécher sur le sol de la douche. Après un deuxième passage de la femme de ménage l’hygiène était correct mais les murs tachées de traces de pied, de main et de saleté (positionner au niveau du visage à côté du lit) n’ont malheureusement pas été nettoyé…un coup de lingette aurait suffi... Malgré cela deux autre points décevant, la porte laisse passer les lumières, les murs ne sont pas isoler comme une impression de vivre avec les autres habitant sans oublier le fait qu’il a ni volet ni rideaux au fenêtre un simple store en tissu qui laisse passer toute la lumière… alors oui je comprend le que le prix ne soit pas excessif pour Londres mais l’hygiène laisse fortement à désiré. En France pour un prix même inférieur (ibis) on retrouve le minimum de l’hygiène sans avoir à le justifier.

Buena zona para alojarse, cercana a casi todo.
Pros:

El alojamiento está cercano a zonas turísticas y conexiones de metro y bus que conectan con otras zonas de Londres en menos de 30 minutos como mucho.

Cons:

La limpieza dejaba mucho que desear, ya que en nuestra estancia (4 días ) no cambiaron las sábanas, ni aspiraron la moqueta, ni cambiaron los vasos usados de la habitación.

Hotel in posizione ottima, ad un passo da Hyde Park, Metro e Fermate bus. Ottima la pulizia della camera e degli ambienti esterni. Personale molto disponibile, ci ha permesso di lasciare i bagagli in hotel anche dopo il check out.

Cons:

Camera tripla davvero molto piccola. Non c'erano superfici per appoggiare nulla.
