Great only shower was bit on weak side
Pros:

Staff so helpful and friendly on reception and in the restaurant in the morning rooms very clean , they r old but clean and weak water in showers but still great value and most people will find the shower strong enough it’s just that I’m fussy 😭

Pros:

• the garden lodge suite is spacious, very comfortable and very attractively furnished and decorated
• this hotel offers well priced rooms - good value
• the greenery and colourful flowers in the gardens are delightful
• I like that there is a good choice of vegetarian and vegan dishes

Cons:

• the location is not ideal
• it can be difficult to drive up.to the entrance and from there back out to the road due to the uneven surface of the long and winding path and signage in need of improvement

Pros:

The setting is lovely, a quiet oasis outside London.

Cons:

As always. the decor just needs painting , revarnishing etc. It lets down the whole experience of staying in such a wonderful house.

Cons:

Sadly the towels had stains and the bathroom sink had a broken plug, so whilst using it seeing the drainage system all the time was not ideal. For the price of the room, bottled water was expected as no drinking water was provided which is standard these days at this room rate.

It’s a most beautiful spot, and we most certainly will be back, if in the area.
Pros:

Loved the building and the gardens. Amazing. The suite was very comfortable and we liked sitting on the terrace and watching the wildlife.

Cons:

Our fridge didn’t work.

Relaxing stay, perfect for getting away from the hustle and bustle
Pros:

Everything, it was so tranquil. I did not get to enjoy the gardens or even visit the rooms in the main house as I checked in late and checked out early, feeling gutted. I really wish you would make an onsite spa and I would be stopping by regularly for spa breaks, such a beautiful hotel in a beautiful serene setting. Even the air here smelt different 😌

Cons:

Perhaps need to upgrade the sink taps to a mixer tap ☺️ but it's not the end of the world
