Nice hotel, great location
Pros:

The location is great, 3 minutes walk from the main train station, 5-6 from Petite France, 12-13 from the cathedral... The rooms are small, but clean and functional, and the staff is very helpful. The hotel was undergoing renovations, but it did not affect my stay in any way.

Cons:

After booking, I received a message from the hotel via Booking.com that they would allow me to enter the room immediately upon arrival, at 11 am. However, when I arrived, they told me that the room would not be ready until 3 pm. It was no big deal, I just don't understand the point of the message if they are not able to fulfill what they confirmed.

Despite the ongoing renovation, we had a great stay at the property.
Pros:

The location. It is close to all the nice spots and the central station. Many restaurants, cafes, and grocery shops near the hotel.

Cons:

It was undergoing renovation works during our stay.

Nice hotel, we enjoyed our stay there. When we go back for another visit this hotel will be on our list to look at.
Pros:

A nice quirky hotel that is in then process of being refurbished. Our room was nice and modern. We didn’t hear any construction noise etc whilst we were there.

Cons:

Nice and central for the train station and city centre. 5 minute slow walk from station similar time to the main city centre. All the key city highlights were within a steady 25 minute walk no hills.
Plenty of cycling lanes.

Viel Schatten, wenig Sonne.
Pros:

Gute Lage, so dass man fussläufig den Bahnhof und die Innenstadt erreichen kann. Schönes und reichhaltiges Frühstück. Das war es dann aber auch schon.

Cons:

Auf die Bauarbeiten am Haus wurde nicht hingewiesen. Das Hotel ist schon sehr in die Jahre gekommen, so auch die Innenausstattung. Die Zimmer sind winzig, es gibt kaum Ablagemöglichkeiten. Der Internetauftritt ist geschönt. Das Servicepersonal ist unprofessionell und misslaunig gegenüber den Gästen aufgetreten. Befremdlich ist auch, dass sich das Personal während der Frühstückszeit am Bufett bedient hat. Die Parksituation ist katastrophal, nicht einmal das Be-und Entladen bei An-und Abreise ist möglich. Fenster kann man gar nicht öffnen, wegen Lärm -und Geruchsbelästigung (asiatisches Restaurant). Wir können das Hotel nicht weiterempfehlen.
