Pros:

Frühstück, Sauberkeit und die Freundlichkeit des Personals darf man positiv herausheben. Die Lage zur Innenstadt ist gut. Wenn man mit dem Auto reist, muss man Zusatzkosten für das Parken einkalkulieren, und einen gewissen Weg zum Parkhaus. Das ist aber bei der Lage so nah an der Altstadt völlig in Ordnung.
Wenn die Baustelle fertig ist, hat das Hotel sicher noch mehr Charme.
Nett ist auch die angegliederte Lokalität, in der man direkt vor Ort noch gemütlich etwas trinken kann.

Cons:

Leider war vorher nicht bekannt, dass das Zimmer im 5. Stock in den meisten Bereichen keine Stehhöhe hatte, also wirklich nur unter 180 cm. Ich habe mir mehrfach den Kopf gestoßen. Außerdem ging der Aufzug leider nur bis zum 3. Stock, was für meine 83 jährige Mutter wegen der notwendigen Treppennutzung sehr mühsam wurde.
Etwas mehr Information im Vorfeld wäre günstig gewesen. Dann hätte man sich ggf. wegen eines anderen Zimmers an das Hotel wenden können.

Pros:

Very convenient to central Strasbourg and the sites. Very easy walk from the train station.

Cons:

Bar tender was a bit rude. One side of the double bed was against the wall so climbing over my spouse was a little bit of a pain.
