Bad experience with nonchalant staff and super tiny rooms

Location. Historic building.

Cons:

Rooms are beyond tiny. A chambre de bonne (maid’s room transformed into a hotel room. The shower is 80 cm by 80 cm. The closet is half a closet. You really bump yourself everywhere. The bathroom can barely stand one person. Staff is correct and helpful. But, the roads to reach were closed. Noone bothered telling us when we booked (same day). We walked woth luggage half a kilometer. The parking option we chose was rendered useless. We called the hotel many times to ask how to reach. Phones do not work. When we asked at reception, they said nonchalantly that lines are not working. Not sure how they got a 4 stars. Overall terrible experience.

Hotelul foarte bine poziționat, la 5 min de mer pe jos de Catedrala, situat pe o străduță laterala liniștită. Am avut camera dubla privilege. Curatenie impecabila, efectuata zilnic. Am apreciat existenta halatelor de baie si papucilor de camera. Aer condiționat silențios. Patul nu foarte mare, dar confortabil.
Micul dejun contra cost, dar diversificat si foarte bun.
Personalul foarte amabil. As alege cu drag acest hotel si pentru o alta vizita la Strasbourg

As sugera totuși că accesoriile de pat ( in special ma refer la perne) ar necesita îmbunătățiri.

My friend and I had an enjoyable two night stay in this nice hotel.
Pros:

Great location near the Cathedral and all of the old city. Comfortable beds and air con. Nice personnel.

Zentrale Lage, direkt am Gutenberg -Platz. Also fast direkt am Münster.
Check Out bis 12 Uhr.

Wir hatten das Zimmer mit Balkon und Blick auf das Münster:
Der Balkon ist groß und bietet einen schönen Blick auf das Münster. Leider ist der Balkon sehr spartanisch ausgestattet. Bequemere Sitzmöbel für einen schönen Sommerabend, mit Blick auf das beleuchtete Münster, würde ich bei dem Preis schon erwarten.
Unangenehmer Geruch bei Ankunft im Zimmer. Vermutlich weil auf dem Balkon geraucht wurde, ohne die Tür zu schließen.
WC ist separat vom Bad. Hat aber kein Waschbecken, so dass man erst durchs Zimmer ins Bad laufen muss, um Hände zu waschen (unhygienisch).
