Loved the Chateau and the pool.
Pros:

Pool. Stylish interior. Soft towels. The dinner was very good (though overpriced a bit)

Cons:

The breakfast was terrible. Admittedly there was a bus load of Americans who depleted it at 6:30 am but for the rest of us there were meagre remnants ( empty dried-on scrambled eggs etc).

Pros:

fantastisch kasteel, zoals je je dat voorstelt met schilderijen, chandeliers, er is een buitenzwembad ligt in een mooie omgeving. En het restaurant had een prachtige maaltijd gekookt.. menu prijzen zitten wel wat hoger maar je krijgt super mooie gerechten ervoor.

Bed Bugs (Punaises de lit) and Very Concerning Management

Je viens dans cet établissement depuis plus de 20 ans, au moins deux fois par an, car ma famille habite à moins d’1 km. Mon dernier séjour (via Booking) datait du 12 au 14 septembre 2025.

Il y a une semaine, je devais rester deux nuits, mais en arrivant dans la chambre n°8, j’ai découvert des punaises de lit vivantes et des oeufs (dans la salle de bain, sous les jupons du lit et au bord du matelas). J’ai immédiatement pris mes valises et demandé à la réceptionniste de nuit de monter constater : elle a refusé. J’ai donc quitté l’établissement après moins de 10 minutes.

Trois jours après, sans nouvelles, nous avons dû rappeler. Aucun excuse, aucun engagement, et un ton agressif : on m’a même reproché d’avoir réservé via Booking alors que je connais l’établissement depuis des années. Quelques jours plus tard, refus de remboursement. J’ai dû réserver en urgence un autre hôtel (Booking peut en attester).

Après un séjour l’an dernier, nous avions retrouvé des punaises de lit chez nous quelques semaines plus tard : je pense qu’il pourrait y avoir un lien avec cet établissement.

Je joins des vidéos. Ayant déjà vécu ce problème, j’ai préféré partir immédiatement plutôt que de documenter davantage, ce que j’aurais dû faire.

À fuir.

Et je ne parle même pas de l’amateurisme de l’accueil du vendredi soir.

Enfin, le petit-déjeuner est très médiocre (lors de notre sejour en Septembre passé) et sa qualité a nettement baissé depuis le changement de propriétaires (sortie du groupe “Grandes Étapes Françaises”).

Beautiful place. Make sure you get the room you paid for
Pros:

We reserved a “deluxe“ room but were given a “superior” room, much like a motel 6. I knew something was wrong and found my reservation for a nicer room. We had to re pack all our stuff and go to the new room, much finer than the other. No apology, just “thats weird”
The other staff made up for it by being super helpful and I felt it was genuine. Its a nice place. Just keep an eye on getting what you paid for

Tout était parfait, l''hotel, la chambre, le restaurant !! Nous tenions a remercier le monsieur qui nous a fait le check-in mais aussi notre serveuse au restaurant !
L'hôtel est magnifique, dans un style d'époque que j'adore. Les chambres sont tres bien, la literie egalement. Nous avons tres bien mangé au restaurant. Le petit déjeuner est aussi tres tres bien ! Je recommande sans hésiter cet établissement !!

Soirée privée au château
Pros:

Nous étions seuls et c etait incroyable d avoir toute la maison pour nous. Le personnel est charmant et souriant et très accueillant. La chambre est confortable et bien équipée. Les salons sont beaux et la salle du restaurant très agréable et belle. Et nous avons eut un repas délicieux. Et surtout goûter au st Emillion de la maison younan c est un vin exceptionnel.
