Pros:

Wir haben eine Nacht in diesem Château verbracht. Der Empfang war sehr freundlich und die Mitarbeiter waren während unseres Aufenthalts stets bemüht und zuvorkommend – dafür ein großes Lob.

Leider konnte das Hotel insgesamt unsere Erwartungen nicht erfüllen. Die Zimmer waren nicht sauber und wirkten verstaubt und in die Jahre gekommen. Zudem gibt es keine Klimaanlage. Je nach Lage des Zimmers (insbesondere in den oberen Stockwerken) wird es im Sommer unangenehm heiß.

Auch das Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis stimmt aus unserer Sicht nicht. Für eine Nacht inklusive Abendessen haben wir rund 450 € bezahlt. Das Abendessen wird als hochwertiges Menü angeboten, konnte qualitativ jedoch nicht überzeugen. Das Frühstück muss zusätzlich bezahlt werden.

Positiv hervorzuheben ist der schöne Pool, der sich gut zum Schwimmen eignet. Allerdings sind die Liegen sehr unbequem, und der Service am Pool ist nur eingeschränkt vorhanden.

Unser Eindruck ist, dass das Hotel eine umfassende Modernisierung benötigt – insbesondere die Zimmer, der Speisesaal sowie eine bessere Ausstattung mit WLAN und Klimaanlagen. Erst nach einer entsprechenden Renovierung wäre der aufgerufene Preis aus unserer Sicht gerechtfertigt.

Schade, denn das Château hätte mit seinem besonderen Ambiente eigentlich großes Potenzial.

Dogs only welcome at eye watering cost!
Pros:

This is a beautiful hotel, the room was comfortable and spacious.The grounds are lovely with a large swimming pool

Cons:

The hotel says it welcomes pets and ‘there might be a charge’. When I came to pay the room tax I was informed that I was to be charged €70 euros to have two miniature Dachsunds sleeping in our room. This increased the nightly accommodation cost by 50% so the dogs slept in the car. Our second issue was that there was no internet available

If the decor matched the food this place would be a gem
Pros:

The chateau is beautiful, set in lovely grounds and the swimming pool is a delight. The dining room has been lovingly restored as have the main communal areas downstairs The highlight was the evening meal. Absolutely fantastic. Really inventive, delicious and beautifully presented and the serving staff were excellent. It was also very good value.

Cons:

The rooms have very old fashioned decor and the bathroom needs modernising. The hairdryer was awful! Also there were paper cups, no sugar or milk with a limited selection of tea and coffee in the room. For a 4 star establishment this attention to detail should be automatic.

Sehr reizvolles Schloss mit verbesserungsfähigem Service

Haben in mehreren Chateau's übernachtet und insgesamt machte das Schloss Louis XIII einen sehr guten Eindruck.
Hatten ein großes Zimmer mit tollem Badezimmer. Durch die Hitzewelle Juni26 war es sehr warm im Zimmer, jedoch wurde ein Ventilator gestellt. Frühstück draußen im Schlosshof morgens sehr schön und Umfangreich. Personal für Administration und Frückstück sehr gut. Parkplatz draußen.

Cons:

Das Abendessen im Schloss war auf Feinschmecker Niveau, jedoch der Service ziemlich überfordert, trotz überschaubarer Gästeanzahl. 1 Glas Champagne Wartezeit 35 Min,,,, Rotwein " zum Nachtisch " statt zum Dinner.
Haben die Reservierung für den Nächsten Tag storniert. Kam der Organisation sicher entgegen, da eine BUS- Ladung von Touristen einfiel.Lage : ca. 20 Min. von Tour

A beautiful chateau, the decor and ambiance was wonderful, very peaceful surroundings
Pros:

The food in the restaurant was superb as was our room. The pool was a welcome retreat as the weather was very hot!

Cons:

We felt the "reception" area was not in keeping with the wonderful chateau and check in was a little rushed, no help with our luggage or a welcome drink was offered which was a shame.

A truly beautiful place, located next to a charming and historic French village. The facilities are excellent, the staff are outstanding and highly professional, and the swimming pool is especially impressive—beautiful, relaxing, and exceptionally well maintained. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a memorable stay in the French countryside.

Cons:

While the property itself is beautiful, the service was disappointing. Staff were rarely available; every time I went to the bar, no one was there and I had to search for someone to assist me. On our first evening, the hotel restaurant was fully booked, and I had to spend nearly an hour looking for somewhere to eat before finally finding a pizza place.

Another major drawback is that there are virtually no dining options within walking distance of the hotel after 6:00 PM. Guests should be aware that without a reservation or a car, finding dinner in the evening can be quite difficult.

The location is charming and peaceful, but the lack of accessible food options and limited staff presence significantly affected our experience.

Beautiful chateau. The luxurious restaurant does not meet expectations.

A hotel in a historic royal palace. The luxurious design reflects the period. Spacious and comfortable room.

Cons:

The service at the restaurant claims to be that of a luxury restaurant. In reality, we were served by a nice waitress who didn't speak a word of English and had a hard time understanding what we wanted or explaining anything. The head waiter, who spoke English and was clearly not busy (there was only one other table occupied besides us), took our order but ignored the language problem throughout the rest of the meal. The food did not meet expectations for a luxury restaurant.

Einen Aufenthalt wert
Pros:

Einmal wie die Könige Frankreichs zu residieren, ein Wunsch ging in Erfüllung!
Das Essen war ausgezeichnet und das Personal sehr aufmerksam. Als sie zufüällig bemerkt haben, dass wir unseren 40. Hochzeitstag feiern, wurde dies sofort der Küche mitgeteilt und eine kleine, feierliche Köstlichkeit aufgetischt. Herzlichen Dank!

Cons:

Schade wurden am Pool keine Snacks angeboten. Schon ein Sack Chips hätte mein nagendes Hungergefühl gestoppt.

Loved the Chateau and the pool.
Pros:

Pool. Stylish interior. Soft towels. The dinner was very good (though overpriced a bit)

Cons:

The breakfast was terrible. Admittedly there was a bus load of Americans who depleted it at 6:30 am but for the rest of us there were meagre remnants ( empty dried-on scrambled eggs etc).

fantastisch kasteel, zoals je je dat voorstelt met schilderijen, chandeliers, er is een buitenzwembad ligt in een mooie omgeving. En het restaurant had een prachtige maaltijd gekookt.. menu prijzen zitten wel wat hoger maar je krijgt super mooie gerechten ervoor.
