Es hat uns gefallen und wir werden wieder kommen.
Pros:

Die Lage in der Nähe des Bahnhofs. Das Hotel hatte schon bessere Zeiten erlebt, aber es war sauber und das Personal sehr freundlich. Auch das Frühstück war top in Ordnung. Für einen kurzen Aufenthalt alles Bestens.

Cons:

Das Zimmer war etwas klein.

Unfortunately, we have to say that this hotel was a major disappointment.

We paid €220 per night for our room and expected a much higher standard of service and accommodation. We also paid extra for a room with a canal view. However, instead of a canal view, all we could see were metal bars and a water taxi stop. We asked to change the room, but our request was refused.

The room itself was in very poor condition. The shower was not functioning properly, the toilet was not clean, and there were clumps of hair and lint scattered around the room. The room showed significant signs of wear and tear, with visible damage and deterioration throughout. To make matters worse, there was an unpleasant smell in the room that greatly reduced the comfort of our stay.

Breakfast was another disappointment. The selection was extremely limited. Near the reception desk, only two types of cold cuts were being sliced on a basic slicer – a cheap ham and a dry cured salami. This did not appear particularly hygienic, especially as dishes were being washed by hand in a sink directly behind the serving area. The only hot food available was hard-boiled eggs. Apart from a simple bread roll, there was very little else on offer.

Overall, the hotel did not meet our expectations and certainly did not justify the price we paid. For €220 per night, we expected a much higher level of cleanliness, comfort, and service. Unfortunately, we cannot recommend this hotel.

Kind staff, but a very uncomfortable experience

Very good location, helpful and friendly staff, nice breakfast

Cons:

Sadly, we didn’t have the best experience staying here. During the night, we got bitten multiple times by what seemed to be bed bugs, and we ended up with several itchy bites on our legs, back, and arms. It has honestly affected the rest of our trip because the itching has been really uncomfortable.

We also noticed that the bed sheets did not feel very clean, and some corners of the bathroom could have been cleaner as well.

It’s a pity because apart from that, we actually liked the place and the staff were very kind and friendly. But unfortunately, these issues really ruined what otherwise could have been a very nice stay.

Posizione buona, vicino alla stazione di Venezia Santa Lucia.
Colazione buona.
Letti molto comodi.

Cons:

Non si può pagare con le carte la tassa di soggiorno e nemmeno nessun acquisto sotto i 10 euro, cosa che loro dicono sia per legge italiana, ma che dovrei verificare, non credo sia così. Personale al check in abbastanza scontroso.
