Property Description

Kastro Hotel was built in 1964. It was completely renovated and decorated in 2016 blending the past with up-to-date luxury for all visitors keen on combining business with pleasure. The three star hotel occupies one of the most convenient locations in the town, across the main shopping district, within a walking distance from the four lions square, right at the center of the town and next to the famous archaeological museum. The hotel offers free Wi-Fi for all guests.

Location, staff, food was wonderful. nothing negative to say.
Pros:

The Staff was superb and helpful. Helped us get a rental car.
the Breakfast was also great. So many choices, fresh and always replenished. The rooms were very clean, sheets were crisp, and bathroom also very up to today's standards.

Sehr gutes Hotel in sehr zentraler Lage. Sehr modern ausgestattet. Extrem bequemes Bett. Sehr gutes Frühstuck. Günstiges Parkhaus 2 Fußminuten vom Hotel. Sehr freundliches Personal. Wir waren nun schon zum zweitenmal im "Kastro" und waren rundherum höchst zufrieden!

Cons:

High Tech bis zum Anschlag. Jede Menge Schalter für verschiedene Zimmer- und Bad-Beleuchtung. Braucht man wirklich fünf Lichtschalter für differenzierte Badezimmerbeleuchtung? Aber eigentlich fanden wir die Schalterspielereien sehr amüsant und durchaus nicht negativ.

is the hotel is at the intersection of five very narrow roads. The Taxi left us about 50 yards away and we had to navigate the rest on very uneven pavement and few sidewalks, rolling our luggage

Bel hôtel, nous recommandons!
Pros:

Bel hôtel, propre, situé dans un quartier aux rues exigues. Près des rues piétonnières et animées.
Chambre confortable.

Cons:

Les petits déjeuners étaient très corrects. Le personnel ne suffisait pas toujours à fournir le buffet. Dommage.

Comfortabel hotel op uitstekende locatie
Pros:

Uitstekende uitvalsbasis om Iraklion te verkennen. Midden in de stad, op loopafstand van alle bezienswaardigheden en op 10 minuten rijden van het vliegveld. Zeer comfortabele en ruime kamers, geweldig ontbijt, vriendelijk personeel en een prima dakterras.
