The hotel itself, the staff, the location, and the hearty breakfast were amazing! Everything is so close to the sites, beaches, shopping, and there are a plethora of delicious dining options nearby.
I think the bathrooms could be cleaner. The showers do have some spots of mold. There are also spots of lime and rust that if not cleaned off properly, will just continue to layer and get worse.
Location.
It was just what we wanted. We had a rent car to return and it was pretty hard to get to the hotel in the rent car and get our luggage to the lobby. No parking in front and a very narrow (like many other places in Greece). Once we got rid of the car, the location was great to walk to the exceptional archeological museum.
Too hot in our room!
The A/C didn't cool off the room and the front desk said that's how it works. :(
And we were told that breakfast was at 7:30. We were surprised to see people eating and drinking coffee when we went to the lobby at 7:10am for our airport taxi.

Estacionamento, para quem vem de carro, perto do hotel, é uma missão quase impossível
Heraclion não é para amadores. Quem ali chega vindo de ilhas menores da Grécia toma um susto .

Noen utfordringer med korte strømavbrudd og wifi brudd under mitt siste besøk. Jeg våknet også flere ganger om natten siden aircon hadde slått seg av. Under mitt første opphold for noen dager siden, var dette ikke noe problem.
La gentilezza e la disponibilità del personale sono stati insuperabili. Pulito e ben curato.
Purtroppo mancavano, o non li abbiamo notati, dispositivi per il superamento delle barriere architettoniche all'ingresso.

L’emplacement était top. À quelques mètres de la mer, dans le bas de la ville. Proche du musée historique de la Crète. Personnel très agréable. Petit-déjeuner copieux avec du choix. Rooftop très agréable aussi !
