Beautiful hotel, friendly People, clean, tasty food, everything was amazing!
Чудовий готель,чистий, сучасний ,до пляжу йти приблизно 200 метрів,(але на пляжі майже кожного дня були великі хвилі та червоний прапорець,кажуть що там часто великі хвилі) кожного вечора в готелі були якісь розважальні заходи для гостей , все поряд магазини, ресторани, бари, кафе. Ретимно дуже красиве місто, куди хочеться повернутися ще раз.
Суттєвих недоліків не помітили. Відпочинок повністю виправдав наші очікування.
Szuper szálloda, tiszta, jól felszerelt, a személyzet extra kedves, a medence kiváló, az étterem nem drága. Jó helyen van, közel a part, közel vannak az éttermek, boltok.
Talán annyi, hogy csak 6 óráig lehet használni a medencét. Nyilván a vacsoráztatás miatt érthető. De igazából nincs ilyen🙂
We spent 6 wonderful days at The Artemis Palace and were very pleased with our entire stay. The hotel is elegant, very clean, and has friendly staff who are attentive to guests’ needs. The rooms are comfortable, the food is varied and delicious, and the location is excellent—close to the beach and a pleasant walking distance from the old town center of Rethymno.
We’d like to extend special thanks to Ms. Eleni Kouklinou, Guest Relations Manager, for her professionalism, kindness, and exceptional care for guests. She helped us arrange the transfer from the airport to the hotel, and our communication with her was impeccable even before our arrival. Her helpfulness and communication with her was impeccable even before our arrival. Her helpfulness and attention to detail contributed significantly to our pleasant experience.
We warmly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a relaxing and carefree vacation in Crete. We would definitely love to come back!😊
We came home from a lovely stay in Theartemis Palace. The staff was wonderful and very helpful, especially Leonidas ( the one with the famous ancestors!) . The food was very good, a nice variety! We booked all in, and it said in the brochure that local alcoholic drinks were included, not! We do like a Metaxa in the evening, a very Greek drink, but it was not included, so we had to pay extra. The hygiene was excellent in the common areas, in our room it depended on the cleaning lady. We are not the people who leave a mess in their room, we tidy up. The one lady was a real jewel and we tipped her every day. The other one just made the bed and emptied the bins and that was it. Overall it was lovely and we would recommend it to all travellers!
The location of the hotel was very good. The hotel was really close to everything.
First, we got a room from the second floor, but we got to upgrade the room for free. (To the third floor, the room was a superior room and it was renovated.) The upgrade was given to us so we would get a more quiet room.
The atmosphere was very welcoming. The breakfast buffet was fine, the churros were good.
The room was cleaned every day (towels were changed, bed was made). The overall cleanliness was extremely great.
The hotel’s service was good and the workers were nice and helpful. We highly recommend this hotel, it was worth the money!
Hotel is brilliant! Really smart, clean and comfortable. The buffet options for breakfast were fresh and varied with lots of indoor and outdoor tables. The bar round the pool was great, quick service with lovely food. Our room was clean and very quiet. The location is just off the beach front and around a 20-25 minute walk to the old town which I would highly recommend doing as it’s a lovely walk and the old town is fantastic! The staff at the hotel are also really welcoming and helpful. As soon as you step foot into the hotel, you are welcomed with big smiles and great service!
The only thing that could be made easier would be the system for the pool towels. You have to go to the hotel opposite the road to get towels if you need them and the system is quite confusing and lengthy. Other than that, the hotel was great!
Negative
Conference attendees in the hotel have high priority as the pool was closed at 3pm in order to prepare gala dinner. No advance info about this. There was fire alarm on one day and no action or info from personnel. No information sign about last service in elevators.
Internet connection was really awfull and slow.

Food was good and several choices especially fresh fruits and fish. Especially soups were very tasty.
Rooms were nice and clean.
Hotel is near to the beach, but no noisy traffic nearby.
From room 421, great view, soundless room and excellent cleaning services, friendly personal, good quality swimming pool. Ioanna helped with F1, Nancy helped with travel places and Frouless bar, and Costas the groom and Elpida are nice and kind.
Lovely staff, warm welcome, great food variety. Kostas in particular was very kind to our child. Overall very kind And helpful with our needs.

Very friendly service. Food was very good and it was easy to eat healthy.
It was quite disappointing to understand that if you don't have all inclusive, you can't have even a bottle of water for free with your dinner. The older lady didn't even ask whether we want to pay for it, she simply decided for us. If the 1,5 l bottle is 0,30€ in the shop, why it is 3,50€ for quests? This is a matter of principal. Small glass of wine was 10€, that made us laugh, so over priced!
The hairdryer in the room was poor, and there was no mirror near any plugs, so it was very difficult to do the hair with the straighting iron.
The timetables do not mean anything, the gym and pools supposed to be open 10-18 but often there were people much before that.

The reception service was excellent throughout our visit – genuinely friendly, professional and exceptionally efficient. The hotel itself is elegant and well-maintained, with particularly impressive lobby areas.
We stayed in a suite with a private pool, which was both beautiful and very spacious. The room featured a harmonious design, calming colours and thoughtful details such as excellent lighting. Some noise from the corridor and the street could occasionally be heard, but it was never a significant issue. The private pool was a very good size (approximately 4 x 2.5 metres and around 110 cm deep) and was ideal for our primary school-aged child. Upon arrival, we were also welcomed with some pleasant surprises and complimentary treats.
The location is very convenient. The beach is right next to the hotel, while the Old Town can be reached with a pleasant 20–25 minute walk or a short taxi ride of just a few minutes (around €8). There are also several excellent restaurants nearby that are suitable for families, including Nostos.
The pool areas are clean and very well maintained. The smaller pool area in the annex building was less crowded and offered a more relaxed atmosphere. The main pool, however, was often quite busy during our stay in mid-June. Music was played around the pools on several days and, at least for our family’s taste, the volume was fairly high. Guests looking for a particularly peaceful pool experience may wish to keep this in mind. On the other hand, the hotel’s evening entertainment added nicely to the holiday atmosphere.
Breakfast offered a good basic selection. The juices tasted somewhat artificial, but otherwise the overall experience was positive. Special praise goes to the breakfast staff for their friendly and efficient service.
Housekeeping was generally really good and the room remained clean throughout our stay. There was, however, some inconsistency in the service. Items such as coffee, milk, bottled water and other basic amenities were not always replenished in a predictable manner. The timing of housekeeping also varied more than expected. We were asked upon arrival when we would prefer the evening service to take place, but this preference was not always followed. Based on our experience, it is worth making active use of the “Do Not Disturb” function if you have a specific daily routine. These were relatively minor issues, however, and did not significantly affect what was otherwise an excellent stay.
Overall, the hotel offers excellent value for money and is easy to recommend. We left with very warm memories of our week-long stay.

Das Bett war mit 80 cm pro Matratze zu klein für uns.
Exceptional stay! From the moment we arrived and throughout the stay we could see the hotel is very well kept and it was spotless in all areas, every member of staff we encountered wether that be cleaner, waitress, receptionist to concierge was friendly and super helpful, representing the hotel perfectly. We went all inclusive and the food and drink options were spot on, always plenty options for everyone and nothing was repetitive, anything that was extra to all inclusive we found to be reasonably priced for the quality of food or drink we were getting. The main pool was very clean, and had plenty of sunbeds so getting a bed was never an issue and a lovely place to spend your day. We celebrated a birthday during our stay and the staff sorted a birthday cake to the room on the day plus a gift as well which was a nice surprise from them, really appreciated. We stayed in a suite with a lovely sea view, very spacious. The room was perfect and the amenities/ room keeping was a great standard, our only recommendation from the full stay would be that a handheld hairdryer in the room would be better than the wall mounted one as it just was not strong enough, it does work but having our own would be better. Would be more than happy to visit again in future!
Theartemis Hotel is has a relaxed and friendly atmosphere with very attentive and helpful staff. We were lucky enough to be upgraded to a pool room which was amazing and made our stay even more special. The pool area is spacious with plenty of sun loungers and the Freddo cappuccino from the pool bar is really good. Overall the facilities, the cleanliness and hospitality were outstanding and we would definitely come here again. Thank you.
