A wonderful hotel in a great location for walking to all the historical sights, shops and restaurants.

The bottle of champagne in my room on arrival was very thoughtful and a lovely touch.

The staff were delightful and so helpful especially Revekka and Panagiota who made my stay wonderful and very memorable.

They organized a driver for me during my stay, Yannis picked me up a few times, he was fabulous and made me feel very safe as a solo traveler.

I loved my room on the 4th floor and sitting out on the terrace in the evenings looking up at the Acropolis at sunset.

Highly recommended.

Great location in Plaka. 5 minutes walk to Acropolis. The small kitchen is really nice. Welcome champagne on the first day. Room is spacious. Bathroom ceiling is beautiful. Friendly staff.

Simply amazing. We couldn't have asked for a better location. From our balcony, we had incredible views of the Acropolis and the Temple of Zeus—something I'll never forget. Everything was within a 5-minute walk: amazing restaurants, shops, historic sites, and all the sightseeing you could want.
The hotel itself is absolutely stunning, spotless, and the staff made us feel right at home. We feel incredibly blessed to have had this experience. When we come back to Athens, there's no question, we'll be staying here again. Highly recommend.

We had a wonderful 3-night stay at the AVA hotel in June. It was our first time in Athens, and the hotel gave us the perfect combination of a central location with a private and peaceful hotel. We could walk to everything - the National Garden, the Plaka, the Acropolis, etc. - and yet, once we were inside the hotel, we felt removed from the crowd. We had a beautiful room with a bedroom and separate sitting room (with fold-out sleep sofa), so we were very comfortable. The staff was warm and welcoming and gave us help whenever we needed it.

Prior to our visit, they sent us an email offering additional services, and we took them up on two: transportation to/from the airport, and a private trip to the Temple of Poseidon (90-minute drive from Athens down the coast). Highly recommend the trip to the Temple of Poseidon: fewer tourists than the Acropolis, and very beautiful at Sunset. Our driver for both was Yannis, who was warm and fun and very professional.

This is a great little hotel. The room we had was spacious, well appointed and just simply great. Although the staff was very helpful, they did not appear to be very welcoming.

This is very close to the Acropolis, and has numerous dining opportunities just steps away.

This is a very nice hotel in a fantastic location. You literally walk out the door and immediately to your right, you see the Acropolis and to your left, Hadrian’s arch. The Plaka district is very charming and you have so many shops and restaurants within a few minutes walk. We stayed in a regular suite, but it was very large with a beautiful modern bathroom, although it was a little on the small side. The breakfast was decent but it would have been nice to have additional options and they didn’t always replenish things, especially the plain croissants which they tended to run out of every day around 10 which was still 30 minutes before the breakfast ended. These things are small things and did not take away from the fact that it’s a beautiful hotel with excellent service. I emailed the hotel many times months before our arrival date requesting information about restaurants, tours, etc. and Magda at the front desk was very helpful and always responded promptly and set up restaurant reservations, arranged a private guide for us for the Acropolis and the Acropolis Museum as well as a driver to take us on a day trip. She was always so very sweet and friendly and was a pleasure to talk to. If we ever come back to Athens, we will definitely stay here again!

Clean and convenient

Perfect location, close walking to the Acropolis. Bottle of champagne given to us upon arrival a very nice touch. Very friendly staff!! Would recommend

The location is great. The boutique hotel is very clean, the staff is great and the breakfasts are terrific.

This was our second stay at AVA Hotel. It is in a perfect location. Just down the street from Plaka. Very close to the Acropolis. Recently renovated, large room and extremely clean. They were very accomodating allowing us a late check out for a later flight. They had arranged the transfers.Perfect Lov
