Great stay!
Pros:

This is a very nice hotel in a fantastic location. You literally walk out the door and immediately to your right, you see the Acropolis and to your left, Hadrian’s arch. The Plaka district is very charming and you have so many shops and restaurants within a few minutes walk. We stayed in a regular suite, but it was very large with a beautiful modern bathroom, although it was a little on the small side. The breakfast was decent but it would have been nice to have additional options and they didn’t always replenish things, especially the plain croissants which they tended to run out of every day around 10 which was still 30 minutes before the breakfast ended. These things are small things and did not take away from the fact that it’s a beautiful hotel with excellent service. I emailed the hotel many times months before our arrival date requesting information about restaurants, tours, etc. and Magda at the front desk was very helpful and always responded promptly and set up restaurant reservations, arranged a private guide for us for the Acropolis and the Acropolis Museum as well as a driver to take us on a day trip. She was always so very sweet and friendly and was a pleasure to talk to. If we ever come back to Athens, we will definitely stay here again!

Perfect location, large comfortable room for 3 persons. On the expensive side.
Pros:

Perfect location, close walking to the Acropolis. Bottle of champagne given to us upon arrival a very nice touch. Very friendly staff!! Would recommend

Perfect Location
Pros:

This was our second stay at AVA Hotel. It is in a perfect location. Just down the street from Plaka. Very close to the Acropolis. Recently renovated, large room and extremely clean. They were very accomodating allowing us a late check out for a later flight. They had arranged the transfers.Perfect Lov

Beautiful little gem in the middle of it all
Pros:

Beautiful little gem in the middle of it all. Only stayed 2 nights in Athens and wish it was longer for both the hotel, region and culture. Spacious rooms very well constructed with nice finishings, space, style, and amenities. One of the nicest bathrooms I've ever seen ! Staff were friendly and helpful, breakfast was great, and they minded our baggage prior to check in time. Very fortunate to find such a great hotel for our first visit in Athens. Absolutely recommend.

Fabulous hotel, convenient location, wonderful staff!!!
Pros:

Superb hotel, in a wonderful location and with truly excellent staff. Everything is walkable from here. The staff are super friendly and happy to help. The rooms are spacious and well-appointed. We chose a package with many extras, and it was very good value. All-in-all, we loved the stay, the people and the excellent breakfast.

The Perfect Place to Stay in Athens
Pros:

This wonderful hotel is the perfect place to stay in Athens. Everything was within easy walking distance. From our balcony, we could see the Acropolis, and we enjoyed many evening walks along the pathway at the base of the hill. The area is perfectly safe, with restaurants and shops being only a block away. The National Garden was also a short walk away and that was a beautiful oasis in the middle of the city.

The room was lovely, and the beds were super comfy. The included breakfasts were delicious. The staff was warm and welcoming, and very helpful. We will definitely stay here again the next time we are in Athens.

The staff were exceptional, even before I checked when the receptionist paid for my taxi fare upon arrival when I had visa card problems.

Cons:

The shower design was a bit painful for me, with no screen to stop water getting on the floor.

Amazing hotel, great location, highly recommend
Pros:

We have stayed at this hotel 2 times now. It's a perfect location, very clean, staff is great. The rooms are all very nice and good size. They have a great rooftop area to sit and have a drink and take in the amazing views of the Acropolis

That we went to a different hotel first, and not this one
