Please note that the nearest car park, P3, is 2 km away, and access codes must be requested 24 hours before arrival. Guests must park here, take a shuttle bus, and then walk 500 metres to reach the hotel on the mountain.

The hotel actually has 4 buildings in Mont-Saint-Michel, so maybe the others are different. Ours was a very nicely renovated old building with only a few rooms. The bed is comfy, the bathroom is surprisingly modern, and you could see a small slice of the sea from the bedroom window. We played Romeo and Juliet, and it was the perfect stage for it. As our room was inside the walls, it's only a few minutes' walk from literally everywhere: the abbey, the sea, and every restaurant and store in between. The breakfast was fantastic, especially the local cheese collection and the bread selection.

Cons:

I had no real problems, but maybe add some tomatoes to the breakfast table...?

Realmente valió la pena quedarnos un día, disfrutamos la tranquilidad del lugar sin los turistas, hermoso el hotel,las vistas y el desayuno! Sin duda volvería

Nos anotamos para el desayuno y mis hijas fueron en la mañana, se sentaron abajo en unas mesas y vino una señora y las trató mal, hasta que les avisaron que estaban anotadas para desayunar y ahí cambió, el desayuno era en el piso de arriba, igualmente creo que tendrían que tener un trato amable con los visitantes. También nos tocó una habitación subiendo muchas escaleras, ir preparados!

La struttura, come al solito, si approfitta della situazione: pur chiedendo cifre da capogiro per un alloggio piuttosto mediocre, offre un servizio scarso e completamente privo di rispetto nei confronti dei viaggiatori.

Oltre a questo, conferma una prenotazione per una stanza che, al momento dell'arrivo, non viene nemmeno assegnata. Quando si fa presente il problema, invece di trovare una soluzione adeguata, propone altre sistemazioni chiedendo addirittura un sovrapprezzo, senza neppure mostrare la camera che era stata scelta e prenotata.

Un comportamento davvero vergognoso e inaccettabile. Non consiglio questa struttura.

Le petit déjeuner est très bien et complet.
Les personnels sont aimables et font le nécessaire pour que tout se passe au mieux.

Cons:

La chambre était dans une annexe assez "loin ",et d'accès assez laborieux. Il serait bien de prévenir se la distance car il était uniquement précisé : prendre un petit bagage, les chambres sont accessibles uniquement par des marches .

The experience as a whole of being on the island, after the larger groups of people left, seeing the abbey and village and knowing we would be able wake up to the sights and sounds of Mont St. Michel. A precious, once in a lifetime experience.

Don't stay on the Mont
Pros:

Don't stay on Mont Saint-Michel if you want a good night's sleep.

The hotel staff were friendly, and the room was clean and comfortable, so I have no complaints about the accommodation itself. The problem was the noise.

As the hotel is on the main street, visitors were outside until nearly midnight. After that, hotel staff stood outside talking until around 3:00 a.m., and from 5:00 a.m. the bin collections and restaurant deliveries started. The restaurant is owned by the hotel, and the image was taken at 05:30 with their staff talking and banging around outside. Sleep was almost impossible.

Given the premium price of staying on the Mont, it was a very disappointing experience. My advice is to stay on the mainland, visit the Mont for dinner, then return to your hotel for a peaceful night's sleep and visit the abbey in the morning, You'll enjoy the experience far more.

Terrible, don’t stay
Cons:

In 30 degree weather the hotel had no fans. The key card didn’t work. Even thought I booked with the main hotel, I was sent to a room that was up a ton of stairs that I had to carry luggage up and down. My 76 year old mother could not make it up the stairs and there was no alternative.
