Handy for the eurostar

Cons:

Unfortunately everything was very poor. Silverfish infestation in bath cupboard (too small to call it a bathroom).bed lumpy, floor sticky. Single glazed window, which did not lock. Just awful

Helpful staff but very disappointed with facilities and lack of information provided to customers
Pros:

The member of staff on reception was very helpful and arranged a different room for us on a lower floor since we had luggage and the lift was out of order.

Cons:

The lift was out of order and we had two very large and heavy suitcases. We had deliberately booked this hotel as it was listed as having a lift. Disappointed that this updated information about the lift was not relayed to us (either by the hotel itself or by Booking.com (through which we made the booking).
Also, TV didn’t work in our room - could only access two channels, and both of those had intermittent signals, so were unwatchable.

Can't really complain for the price
Pros:

Great location, especially for the price. Pleasantly surprised by how quiet our room (in the basement at the back) was. The fans in the room kept it at a comfortable temperature. Being able to keep luggage there after checking out was hugely beneficial.

Cons:

The bathroom had a motion detector for the light and - very loud - extractor fan on the ceiling above the door and they would automatically turn off after a few seconds unless you were moving. Which meant constantly waving your arm whilst on the toilet or at the sink and not being able to use them at all when in the shower.
Also, we arrived back around half 10 after a show and it was quite intimidating seeing around 10 homeless people sitting on the step to the entrance, drinking and smoking marijuana. They were very polite and moved to let us past, but knowing I was going to have to walk through them to unlock the door, with my 6 year old, wasn't a pleasant feeling and did make me concerned about how safe we'd be in our room.

Enough to sleep
Pros:

Location is great, right in front of kings cross subway.

Cons:

Lift wasn’t working (during the 5 days we were in there). Bed was too soft and the room was very hot (there’s a fan but we couldn’t sleep with it turned on because of the noise). Hotel is visibly old. Is acceptable if you just want a clean space to sleep, but no more than that.

Location to kings cross station is amazing.

Cons:

Very small cramped room. Lift not working. Room in basement. Small stairs. Didn't really reflect photos. Sensor light in bathroom didn't stay on long enough. Always having to rest.
