Very welcoming staff, in a great location and lovely and clean and smart
Pros:

Great location, friendly staff, clean, everything was as promised. Good location and good value.

Cons:

The air conditioning in our room started making a lot of noise. The pillows could have been better. The bar closed at 10pm. If the pillows were better and the bar was open for a nightcap it could be close to a 10.

Beautiful hotel and knowledgeable staff
Pros:

We stayed for four nights in this hotel and would definitely recommend it. The hotel is one of the best we have ever stayed in. Its position is fantastic. Right in the middle of Seville but down a quiet side street so even thought the city was very busy with a football final and the beginning of a festival we could hear no noise at all in our room.
The room was immaculate and the mini bar refilled daily at no extra cost. There was a great little outdoor terrace where you could enjoy a drink or lunch. All the staff were unbelievably helpful and booked restaurants, taxis and a really good flamenco show.
They have an excellent knowledge of the city and their restaurant recommendations were very good and we are serious foodies who have high standards!
We were very impressed with the breakfast which always had an abundance of fresh produce, great coffee and a menu of eggs cooked in various ways.
Thank you to the staff for making this city break such a success.

A welcome return visit which didn’t disappoint. A gem of a hotel with remarkable staff.
Pros:

We came back because we knew we would be looked after, and we were; from the moment our bags were swept up from the taxi into the lobby, to the effortless check-in and genuine warmth of the staff.

We managed to book the last room in the place for a last-minute getaway and found ourselves in the very same room we had so enjoyed 18 months previously (room 14, ground floor).

Not the brightest room, but with all the amenities you could wish for and (if street noise might be an issue for you) very quiet.

A thoughtful welcome card, half a bottle of wine and a small cheese plate were endearing touches.

We’d been looking forward to the breakfast and, again, our memory hadn’t betrayed us. Noticeable that the fruit trays and other deliciousness was being restocked well past 10 o’clock, so there’s no worry that later arrivals will not get the full experience.

A discovery this year was the third floor rooftop terrace. It may not be excessively promoted because it only accommodates 6 to 8 people but it’s a delightful place to read and relax.

We had also underestimated quite well positioned the hotel is: five minutes to the Triana bridge, not much more to the bull ring and the concert hall.

The Alcazar is a short walk away, in fact, everything is a short walk away.

Four nights at Gravina 51 were just the tonic we needed and I’m pretty sure it won’t be our last visit.

An Oasis of calm in a busy vibrant city
Pros:

Our weekend stay at Hotel Gravina 51 was perfect. An Oasis of calm and coolness in a vibrant hot and busy city . Staff were extremely helpful from initial emails , advice on flamenco shows and restaurants to advise on pre booking Cathedral and Palace visits . Rooms were quite cool and spacious . Roof terrace was a lovely surprise to relax on with a drink. Breakfast we were spoilt for choice . Position is perfect down a quiet side street but within walking distance of all the sights . Overall I would not hesitate to recommend this hotel for a stay in Seville and thank you to all the lovely staff who helped to make our 1st visit to Seville so memorable.
