La piscine pas super propre et pas rafraîchissante pourtant vite à l'ombre ....mais c'est un sacré été chaud !
Pas trop la chauffer en début de saison... peut-être...

La couette installée qu'il faut enlever en arrivant...Par grosse chaleur cela est inutile et minimiser l'usage de la climatisation à une température confortable de saison (24/25) est une bonne attitude pour l'environnement et les coûts de l'hôtel...pour dormir sous la couette il faut 19/22 plutôt !

Wonderful dinner, pleasant staff, and a nice room.
Pros:

Beautiful chateau in a quiet and serene setting with nice amenities such as a pool, walking trails, and a fabulous chef. The dinner was wonderful and our room was clean and comfortable with air conditioning.

Mixed feeling in a beautiful property.
Pros:

We really liked the location and chateau is really beautiful. The surrounding of the building (gardens, etc) are really nice and invite you to walk around.

Cons:

We had mixed feelings about our stay. However, unfortunately, several elements of the experience did not meet the standards we would expect from a 4-star property.

Room & Bedding

We reserved a suite for four people, advertised as having a king/queen bed and a sofa bed. Despite this, we were charged for an additional bed, which we had not requested and were not asked whether we wanted. The sofa bed itself was extremely uncomfortable and ultimately nobody was able to use it.

Furthermore, the area of the suite where the sofa bed and additional bed were located did not have air conditioning, which made this sleeping arrangement even less suitable. Overall, the mattresses and sleeping arrangements were not up to the standard we expected.

Food & Beverage Service

The F&B staff were friendly and smiling, but unfortunately there was a noticeable lack of service, attention and follow-up.

Our first dinner was generally fine, although our drinks took approximately 25 minutes to arrive and we had to remind the team about them. Interestingly, the best dishes of the evening were the children’s meals, which was a very positive surprise and something we appreciated.

Breakfast on the first morning was acceptable. It was a self-service buffet, although there was very little interaction from the team and nobody checked whether everything was fine or whether we needed anything.

On our second day, we asked whether we could have a drink in the garden, as this was one of the experiences advertised by the hotel. We specifically asked if we should order at the bar and were told that someone would come to the garden to take our order. After approximately 25 minutes with nobody coming, we eventually went back inside, asked again and placed the order ourselves.

Our second dinner was noticeably better.

The rooms and bathrooms are dated and could use a refresh. Also the outdoor sitting areas were uncomfortable and do not match the grandeur of the castle. Staff was also lacking.

Cons:

Appeared to be short on staff. We had a lot of luggage and no assistance offered. The room had stains on the carpet, minifridge and phone all unplugged for some reason. We were recommended to their resturaunt. The desert was devine but the steak was about the worst I've had. Outdoor area and pool nice but no service so its kind of wasted. Felt we paid a lot and recieved little.
