There is NO AIR CONDITIINING, at breakfast food was luke warm at best and you could not locate a forks!!

Very disappointing – excellent location, but rooms need significant improvement

The location near Zürich Hauptbahnhof is excellent and was the main positive of our stay. Unfortunately, the condition and standard of our rooms were very disappointing and did not reflect the impression given by the advertised photographs.

The rooms were tired and dated, with noticeably worn furniture. The flooring had lifted in places, creating raised sections that I considered a potential trip hazard, particularly at night. The lighting was also very poor, one bedside light was broken and hanging in position, and the dark switches and electrical sockets were difficult to locate in the poorly lit room.

The bathroom also needed attention. The shower curtain looked old and dirty, an old, used-looking toilet brush was prominently visible, and a bathroom assistance handle had apparently broken and been removed rather than repaired or replaced.

The pillows had visible stains beneath the clean pillowcases and did not appear to have pillow protectors. They were also extremely flat, and I needed three pillows simply to get reasonable head and neck support.

Only six clothes hangers were provided for two people. When this was mentioned to a member of staff, we were told, “You’re lucky to get six; normally you only get three.” Whether intended as humour or not, I did not find this a particularly helpful response.

There is no air conditioning. Fans were provided but were noisy. Opening the windows was not a good alternative because of considerable street noise, including people talking and shouting outside. Cigarette smoke from people smoking outside could also drift into the room.

We were clearly not the only guests disappointed by the difference between the rooms and the advertised photographs. I personally heard other guests raising the same concern at reception. The response I heard was that the photograph might have been of a different room on a different floor.

La habitación era muy calurosa y el ventilador no funcionaba. Afortunadamente nos lo cambiaron la segunda noche.
Las almohadas son super blanditas y se hunden. Tuve que pedir una extra.

End of bed was a trip hazard, and tv on wall made it awkward to walk past the bottom of the bed.
Poor soundproofing between rooms.
No glass for drinking water/cleaning teeth in bathroom.
Only paper cups coffee.

The hotel was worn down and a lot could be done better in terms of cleanliness and service.

Nothing. Love the place
