Very close to Zurich Train Station - less than 10 mins walk; friendly & helpful staff; delicious breakfast (costs extra but worth it)
We love its proximity to Zurich HB and the smooth check in and check out process. It is cool to have keyless entry to our room, which is spacious enough for the two of us.
Having arrived in the morning, we were also thankful that there were facilities for luggage storage so that we could visit the city before check in. We were pleased that our room was available for us slightly after 11am, way before the official check in time.
Nothing really.
Just a minor point, it would be great if the breakfast menu could see some variety. We stayed there for 3 nights and by the third morning we were yearning for something else.
The location is very good, making it very convenient to get around. The breakfasts were delicious and offered a good variety. The cleanliness was truly impeccable – everything was spotless and very well maintained. Overall, a very comfortable and pleasant experience.
It was a walking distance from Zurich HB. Room was clean and the air-conditioning made it comfortable. Space in the junior suite was fairly good with a nice rack to hang clothes. Breakfast was sufficient.
1. To be greeted by a rude and disrespectful staff on the first day you arrived for the first time in Switzerland was a completely unpleasant experience which we were totally unprepared for. And then to observe that same staff being friendly and helpful to another guest made me even more uncomfortable and skeptical about him being sincere in this hospitality industry. Granted that the female manager was a total opposite of him and a few other staff front-desk personnel were friendlier, the damage was done and the stay there left a little bitter after taste.
2. We had chosen to be in contact with Fred Hotel via Whatsapp, but at some point of the communication, the AI chat bot was activated. I was not sure of who i was communicating with. Directions by the AI was incorrect and we got misdirected. In any case, we found our own way there eventually. My text for help was responded much later with a curt “Hello. You already find us. Thank you”.
3. We were told to put our luggage and retrieve our luggage in the storage by ourselves. Wondered what it reflects about trust or security or lack of. I would not want to be wrongly accused if something goes missing.
4. Other than the rude staff, the breakfast ladies seem to be an unhappy lot too.

Tudo limpo tudo perto pertissimo do trem de tudo excelente local rest próximos tudo muito prático lençóis toalhas ótimas colchão excelente. Banheiro ótimo. Tudo pequeno mas ótimo tem guarda roupa e lugar p abrir a mala Só não tem frigobar. Mas no térreo tem tudo gelado p vênder Quem se importa com um colchão e uma localização destas???

La ubicación
Hotel was clean and close to the train station.
Our room had two bathrooms, one with a shower and sink and the other with toilet and small sink. The shower bathroom was too tight to change clothes. Way too small!
The property is in an excellent location, less than 5min walk from the main entrance station (Zurich Hauptbahnhoff). The staff were friendly and helpful and the breakfast is GREAT. Good variety
And always enough.
I was amazed when I opened the room door to find a single bed and not much more. One of the most expensive micro rooms I have ever had. I have been told the price is ‘good for Zurich’, but the still thought there should be more room for my money.
Als ich nicht verstand wie das check in (Türöffnung) geht habe ich geläutet und es ist jmd gekommen.
Am morgen beim auschecken habe ich auch noch kurz jmd gesehen der mich informierte, dass das Auschecken auf dem dash board des Natel sei. Da ich das erste mal ein on-line check in buchte war beides sehr angenehm.
Die Lage (gleich beim Bahnhof), die Ruhe und die Sauberkeit hat mir gefallen
Kein Frühstück da nicht gebucht.
