Ich kann das Hotel nach zweimaligem Besuch nicht weiterempfehlen
Pros:

Genau das ist die Achillesferse des Hotels. Heute 8.30 keine Wurstwaren mehr am Buffet es dauerte 10 Min. Frisches Obst, überhaupt Obst trotz Reklamation nicht vorhanden.
Rezeption: kaufe am Freitag 2 Fahrscheine für Schifffahrt von Luzern nach Brunnen und zurück, stolzer Preis pro Kopf 77Franken. Man kann doch erwarten dass einem mitgeteilt wird, dass es 1. Klasse und 2. Klasse gibt. Eben nicht, man geht aufs Oberdecke und erfährt dann bei der Kontrolle, dass man eigentlich nach unten gehört.man zahlt auf, irgendwie peinlich.
Und noch eine Bemerkung: ich war letzte Woche 3 Tage im Due Torri, Verona, Parkgebühr im wirklich verkehrsfeindliche Verona 35 € bei ihnen 105 Franken, das ist schlichtweg unverschämt und ist kein Renomee für ein 4 Sterne Hotel. Da ich in nächster Zeit mehrfach in Luzern sein werde müssen sie verstehen, dass ich Ihr Haus nicht mehr berücksichtigen werde.

* Disparité entre les photos du site et la réalité : non conforme à un 4 * avec une suite junior donnant sur une cour et sur les toits et très sombre.

The location was good and the view was great

Cons:

Carpeting in hallways and room was disgusting. Toilet was old fashioned and too low. Every few hours you had to resign onto the internet.

Very good overall, worth it for the location but wifi connection was really problematic
Pros:

This hotel is super central and convenient when visiting Lucerne. It's across the street from the train station and the boat pier that takes you to Mt Rigi, etc. You're steps away from the most beautiful spots, bridges, etc. The daily breakfast was a nice touch...nothing fancy but def did the job.

Cons:

The Wi-Fi connection was terrible

very close to the train station
Pros:

We just completed a 15 day vacation in Switzerland. We spent 2 days At the Monopol in Luzern .It is right next to the train station and close to most of the sights. They have Starbucks in the lobby , we never used it though . The breakfast were excellent but the bacon was not cooked to American standards . The front staff helpful.
