Quaint and cute with a beautiful garden
Pros:

Peronal small hotel. Gorgeous gardens and setting. Cute breakfast with simple yet ample food.Friendly owner Jan. Self checkin (very efficient even if its not my favourite)
Very comfy bed.
The garden house kitchen for simplistic self catering.
Power points are ample. Nice view of gardens.
Appreciated the complimentary coffee and their sister business.

Cons:

Size of room and bathroom is very small. No face towel/cloth. Need slippers for ths floor. Room 14 needs bathroom roof attention.

Pros:

The location was very nice. It was right by the bus stop which can take you to either end of the city making it very easy to visit places like Lauterbrunnen without sacrificing the convenience of staying in the city. The breakfast was really good as well. They also have a back garden area which is very nice.

Cons:

We had an economy room on the ground floor which is already small but I was a bit disappointed to see the bathroom sink in the living space. Having the sink in the living area it left almost not space to have 2 backpacks and suitcases. I just didn’t expect this since it was not displayed in the images for the economy room.

a very pleasent stay in interlaken
Pros:

the location was super easy to find, and a minute walk from the center with a lot of resturants, the park. we luckily met the owner while checking in and he helped us with trails for the following days.

Pros:

We had a gteat stay at Hotel Derby. The staff were lovely, comfy bed and a lovely courtyard and camp kitchen. Would definitely stay again.

Cons:

We did a lot of walking back and forth to the station and into the main part of town but there were buses we could of taken.

Pros:

I loved the breakfast and the separate beds were nice. Also the communal patio area with garden house was lovely.

Cons:

The kettle was broken, the toilet off center and it would have been more clear where to pick up the Interlaken guest cards.
