Pros:

Sehr gutes Frühstück. Schöner Garten zum See.

Cons:

Zimmer zur Bahn ohne Klimaanlage, war sehr laut nachts. Rollladen defekt.
Dusche klein, ohne funktionierende Lüftung.

Pros:

Lage ist perfekt, das Zimmer sehr gross und ein schönes Badezimmer. Die Terasse für das Abendessen wunderschön.

Nice location, but not great overall sensation
Pros:

I like the location, the direct access to the lake, beautiful view. Also, it is very thoughtful that there is a shower in the garden that you can access immediately after a swim in the lake.

Cons:

First we were placed in a room with 'city view' that literally means trains pass directly in front of your window every 10 minutes. Fortunately, there was an available room on the lake side, so that was great. The rooms however are extremely noisy, if a neighbour on an upper floor is walking in their room, I felt the bed moving below me which is extreme for a 4-star hotel with corresponding prices. Also, the hotel feels old that does not live up to the 4-star status. I also find it strange that most of the staff don't speak French in a French-speaking canton of Switzerland.

Great location and view. Everything else was a total disappointment.
Pros:

A stunning location, with our small balcony facing the lake and mountains. It's a very quiet area, as it's at the end of the promenade almost.

Cons:

The staff was not at all welcoming. They wanted my debit card to do a photo copy of it, which was so strange for me. When I refused, they insisted, but I didn't give in. I stood my ground, and eventually, one girl stepped in and said that we could check in without the photocopy of my card.
In terms of comfort, the bed was so hard that both my husband and I, we suffered from back ache the next day. On top of that, the pillows were so soft that they swallowed my head completely. Moreover, the room was extremely hot. There was no AC, but just a very small fan that didn't help at all.
The room was not even clean. The carpet was filthy.
The breakfast was very limited.

Wunderbarer Aufenthalt, wie immer. Waren schon oft hier.

Cons:

Da wir eine Hitzewelle hatten und das Hotel leider keine Klimaanlage, waren die Nächte sehr anstrengend.

Pros:

einmalige Lage-direkt am See. Sehr schönes Zimmer mit sehr guten Betten. Gutes Frühstück und Abendessen

Cons:

sehr warm im Zimmer, da keine Klimaanlage. Ein Schrank mit fehlender Tür, nicht sehr schön, anzuschauen. Zimmerspiegel fehlt wahrscheinlich dadurch.

Restauration , accueil, procimite festival

Cons:

Chambres vieillotes , menage moyen ( des cheveux sur les fauteuils en arrivant , lampe qui ne fonctionne pas , petite armoire avec 6 cintres pour 2 pers , sdb minuscule, vieille moquette moche . Bruit du train qui passe jardin , couloir et chambre .

Herrlich. Sehr empfehlenswert. Gute Auslage zum Besuch des Montreux Jazz Festivals.

Bel établissement bien placé mais problème de Clim
Pros:

Bien placé au bord du lac à quelques pas du centre ville mais suffisamment éloigné pour ne pas subir la foule. Les chambres sont simples, confortables. La vue sur le lac est magnifique.

Cons:

La climatisation dans notre chambre était un appareil sur pieds qui faisait beaucoup de bruit. Pas possible de laisser les fenêtres ouvertes à cause du bruit : trains, gens qui parlent fort
