Einfach, sauber, altes Haus, gute Lage, nettes Personal
Pros:

Sehr nette Begrüssung. Anreise mit dem Zug, ich konnte mein Gepäck kostenlos deponieren. Super Lage direkt beim Bahnhof. Ich war 2 Nächte da und bekam frische Handtücher. Zimmer sehr sauber und nett. Bei mir im Zimmer hat alles funktioniert. Hab mich wohl gefühlt. Im Zimmer Wasserkocher mit Bio-Tee und Flasche mit Wasser. Feines Frühstück allem was man so braucht: Kaffe/Tee, Orangensaft, Multivitaminsaft, Käse/Aufschnitt, Brot und Zopf, Roggenbrot, Eier, div Flocken und Samen und Trockenfrüchte, Yoghurt und frischer Obstsalat, Früchte, Marmelade, Nutella und sehr nette Dame dort. Im Zimmer hat es einen Föhn. Hab mit Ohropax gut geschlafen.
Im vergleich mit anderen Häuser in Brig ist es günstig.

Cons:

Das Haus ist in die Jahre gekommen und wird leider nicht so gut unterhalten. Ich habe beim Frühstücken andere Gäste über eine Badezimmer Lüftung welche nicht abstellt und die ganze Nacht lärmt und Lampen welche sich nicht ausstellen lassen reklamieren gehört. Ich verstehe nicht warum das nicht repariert wird 🤷‍♀️
Die Möbel im Frühstücksraum sind wirklich sehr abgenutzt und gehören ersetzt. Mein Zimmer hat ein sehr kleines und damit enges Badezimmer. Im WC ist ständig etwas Spülung gelaufen was unschöne Verfärbungen hinterlassen hat.
Die Fenster sind schlecht isoliert und die gute Lage ist hat entsprechend laut. Ohropax ist zu empfehlen!

Excellent location for rail travel and local amenities. Friendly staff.
Pros:

Excellent location for rail travel right outside both Matterhorn gottard bahn (glacier express) and SBB stations with level walking to both. A friendly welcome - English spoken - and a free room upgrade. lift to all floors I used. Room had kettle and if needed fan. Near to restaurants and shops and supermarket. Double glazed windows kept noise to a minimum.

Cons:

room decor a bit tired. As is usual in Switzerland power sockets were minimal and in inconvenient places.

Great stay at Hotel Europe.
Pros:

Great hotel. Excellent storage for bicycle plus a floor pump, brilliant. Staff very welcoming and was given an upgrade, first time ever. Room excellent, clean and comfortable. Great wifi. Breakfast was also very good. Very near Station and town centre. Great value for money.

Pleasant stay
Pros:

Staff were friendly, location is good near the station and several supermarkets. Room and bathroom were clean.

Cons:

They did not allow check-in earlier than 2:30 pm and we had to wander in the city because our booked train was early in the morning. Dental kit and slippers were not provided. Make sure to bring yours. No bidet in the bathroom.

It was a shocking experience, we literally suffered every moment in this hotel.

To our shock, the bathroom for each room was located outside the room itself. This critical information was never clearly disclosed on the hotel's listing or during the booking process.

The photos on Booking.com portray well-equipped, proper rooms. In reality, we were assigned small, run-down rooms with severely worn furniture and substandard amenities that look nothing like the advertised images.

There was no room telephone to contact reception regarding issues or basic assistance.

During extremely hot weather, there was no air conditioning. The only provision was a small, ancient electric fan in each room, which failed to make the rooms livable.
