quiet hotel in Lugano
Pros:

Location is near the station it's 2 minutes on foot, we just found some difficulties when we tried to reach it by car, the room is very simple but clean, staff were friendly.

Awesome all around and best hotel experience ever in all areas of serving their guests!
Pros:

Amazing location! Close to train station and Lugano Central, but up high on hill so very quiet and peaceful. Staff were all kind, helpful and always went above & beyond expectations! Delicious meals at breakfast and dinner with the best service always desiring to please their guests.

For Most Tourists, Best Location in Lugano
Pros:

Federale is the most convenient hotel in Lugano for anyone taking the train. It is a 5-minute walk downhill from the station, provided you take the right station exit.

The room is correct 3-star quality, and has airconditioning that functions.

The breakfast is standard Swiss style, but served in a pleasant garden in warmer months.

Cons:

The hotel needs to explain better how to get there from the train station, which is how most guests will come, and which is its strongest feature relative to other Lugano hotels.

You need to go to the north end of the platform upon arrival and go down by stairs/elevator, then escalator, following signs for “Citta” until you reach open air and see stairs on the left and a descending ramp on the right. Take the ramp and a minute later you’ll see the hotel building.

Ottima struttura efficiente ed elegante.
Pros:

La pulizia delle camere. L'efficienza dello staff, la cortesia del personale e l'attenzione per il cliente. La struttura è moderna e la posizione dell'Hotel lo rende perfetto per chi viaggia in Treno. Colazione abbondante e di ottima qualità.

Cons:

Strano a dirsi per me che sono molto critico, niente.Non ho aspetti negativi da segnalare.
