Schönes Hotel mit top Frühstück und guter Lage, aber die etwas in die Jahre gekommenen Zimmer und das nicht ganz stimmig
Pros:

Das Frühstück war absolut hervorragend: extrem große Auswahl mit Spezialitäten wie drei verschiedenen Torten, exotischen Joghurts und sehr gutem Kaffee. Besonders schön war die Möglichkeit, auf der Terrasse zu sitzen und dabei das Meer zu beobachten.
Die Anreise war unbeschwert, großer, leicht erreichbarer Parkplatz und sogar zwei E-Ladestationen (auch wenn diese manchmal von deutschen Touristen in Verbrennern belegt waren).
Das Hotel wirkt von außen luxuriös wie eine Villa, und dieser Eindruck setzt sich teilweise im Innenbereich fort. Die Zimmer verfügen über Klimaanlage, ein sehr bequemes Bett, Minibar, guten Föhn, Fernseher sowie Badewanne und Dusche.
Der Concierge war grundsätzlich sehr freundlich.
Die Lage ist super: Bademöglichkeit, gute Restaurants, tolle Einkaufsmöglichkeiten (besonders Obst und Gemüse) und interessante Sehenswürdigkeiten wie das Castello in Trieste in der Nähe. Wir hatten noch das Glück, die imposante Yacht eines russischen Oligarchen Andrei Melnitschenko vom Meer aus zu sehen. Abends machen die vielen Pubs und Bars sowie die Strandparties die Umgebung besonders angenehm.

Cons:

Die Zimmer wirken etwas heruntergekommen und entsprechen nicht dem neuesten Stand der Technik. Manche Zimmer haben eine nicht mehr benutzbare Verbindungstür zum Nachbarzimmer. Das führt zu schlechter Schallisolierung, sodass man die Nachbarn sehr gut hören kann (ob man will oder nicht).
Das Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis stimmt leider nicht ganz: Es kostet je nach Saisson wie ein 4-5 Sterne-Hotel, der Zustand und die Ausstattung der Zimmer entsprechen eher drei Sternen. Der Rest des Hotels (Service, Frühstück, Lage) liegt durchaus bei 4 Sternen.

Für unseren ersten Ausflug nach Trieste war alles perfekt :-)
Pros:

Das Frühstück auf der Rooftop-Terrasse ist nicht nur wegen der Aussicht auf den Golf von Triest unschlagbar, das Zimmer war zwar klein und das Bad/Dusche/WC ist nicht mehr ganz neu, aber sehr sauber. Die Lage des Hotels am langen Stadtstrand von Barcola mit ganz vielen Bars und Restaurants ist nicht zu überbieten. Parkplätze sind direkt am Hotel verfügbar. Sehr freundliches und zuvorkommendes Personal.

Una perla a Trieste
Pros:

La terrazza ristorante ha una vista meravigliosa. La camera standard è molto grande e con un letto enorme. Il personale è molto gentile e la signora Bruna si prodiga per rendere la colazione ancora più unica.

Für eine Nacht in so einem Zimmer 300 Euro zu verlangen ist wirklich nicht in Ordnung. Wir kommen nicht wieder

Cons:

Das ist kein 5 Sterne Haus, max. 3 Sterne. Die Gänge riechen wirklich streng. Die Zimmer sind klein und abgewohnt. Die Betten durchgelegen. Das Bad ist sooo klein. Dabei haben wir kein Standardzimmer gewählt, sondern die nächste Kategorie. Der Haarfön war komplett verschmutzt und verklebt. Sehr eckelig.
Aber das Personal war wirklich sehr freundlich und zuvorkommend.
