We regularly stay in boutique hotels, and our experience here was extremely disappointing. The staff were consistently unfriendly and unhelpful, and the level of service was virtually non-existent.

Our bathroom had visible mould, and the toilet did not flush properly. In the room there was no complimentary bottle of water, not even a drinking glass, and basic amenities normally expected at this price — such as cotton buds, a shower cap or body lotion — were simply absent.

Breakfast was particularly disappointing in both quality and choice. In our experience, even the standard breakfast offered at an Ibis is considerably better.

We were also required to complete a document containing questions that we found bizarre and inappropriate, without understanding why such information was being requested.

Finally, the advertised parking is extremely misleading: there is only one parking space for all hotel guests. If it is occupied, you have to find parking in the surrounding streets, which is very difficult.

Considering the condition of the hotel, the lack of amenities, the poor service and the breakfast, the price is completely disproportionate to what is actually provided. We would not stay here again.
Soggiorniamo regolarmente in boutique hotel e la nostra esperienza qui è stata estremamente deludente. Il personale è stato costantemente poco cordiale e poco disponibile e il servizio è praticamente inesistente.

Nel nostro bagno c’era muffa ben visibile e lo scarico del WC non funzionava correttamente. In camera non c’era neppure una bottiglia d’acqua né un bicchiere. Mancavano inoltre servizi basilari che ci si aspetterebbe in una struttura di questo prezzo, come cotton fioc, cuffia per la doccia e crema per il corpo.

La colazione è stata particolarmente deludente, sia per qualità sia per scelta. Secondo la nostra esperienza, anche la colazione standard di un Ibis è decisamente migliore.

A nice base for seeing Sienna.
Pros:

The view from the terrace was exceptional. The staff were friendly and helpful. Breakfast offered outside under the trees, or inside.

Cons:

The bed was a little too firm. Charging 30 EUR extra for breakfast on the terrace. A 10 min mostly level walk into the old city, but it did provide the exception al views of the city and surrounding countryside.

Pros:

Un peu à l'écart de la vieille ville, mais quand même assez proche pour pouvoir y aller à pied tout en se garant gratuitement dans les rues aux alentours (on y était en août et il y avait plusieurs places à proximité).
Grande gentillesse des responsables qui s'occuper du petit déjeuner et de la restauration, qui savent bien mettre en avant la ville qu'on a adoré découvrir.

Sehr süße Unterkunft mit tollem Blick auf die Stadt von der Dachterrasse
Pros:

Innerhalb von 10-15 Minuten ist man im Zentrum von Siena. Die Unterkunft ist ruhig gelegen. Das Personal sehr freundlich. Von der Dachterrasse aus hat man einen wunderbaren Blick über Siena. Einfach traumhaft. Das Frühstücksbuffet war klein und fein, es gab eine super Auswahl und sehr lecker. Die Betten waren recht weich. Für uns waren sie auch bequem. Jemand, der harte Matratzen bevorzugt, sollte dies vielleicht vorher anmerken. Vielleicht gibt es auch Zimmer mit härteren Matratzen.

Cons:

Direkt angrenzend an unserem Zimmer befand sich der Zugang zum Keller. Hier war die ganze Nacht über eine Maschine zu hören. Da ich eine sehr sensible Schläferin bin, hat mir das etwas zu schaffen gemacht. Daher die Empfehlung - wenn man sensible auf monotone Geräusche reagiert - ein Zimmer auf den höheren Etagen anzufragen. Dort ist es sicherlich nicht mehr zu hören.

Sehr schönes Haus.

Tolle Lage, schönes Zimmer.

Cons:

Wir haben ein Zimmer mit Frühstück gebucht. Uns hatten die Kritiken mit dem tollen Ausblick beim Frühstück von der Dachterrasse fasziniert und gelockt . Leider mussten wir dann vor Ort feststellen , dass die Sachterrasse eine Sonderoption mit einer Extragebühr von 30€ bedeutet. Warum kommuniziert man so unsauber?
