Unser Aufenthalt im Locanda Milano 1873 in Brunate war rundum sehr gelungen und absolut empfehlenswert für alle, die Ruhe, Charme und eine besondere Lage über dem Comer See suchen.

Das Hotel liegt in Brunate, nur wenige Schritte von der Standseilbahn entfernt, die direkt hinunter nach Como führt. Diese Verbindung ist nicht nur praktisch, sondern auch ein kleines Erlebnis für sich. Von oben hat man eine beeindruckende Aussicht über den Lake Como, die besonders bei gutem Wetter unvergesslich ist.

Das Hotel selbst passt sich perfekt in die Umgebung ein. Es handelt sich nicht um einen Neubau oder ein modernes Designhotel, sondern um ein Haus mit viel Charakter und Geschichte. Genau dieser Stil macht den besonderen Reiz aus: Es wirkt authentisch, charmant und fügt sich harmonisch in die typische Architektur von Brunate ein. Es ist nicht retro im klassischen Sinn, sondern hat einfach dieses gewisse Etwas, das man schwer beschreiben kann.

Das angeschlossene Restaurant mit seiner Terrasse ist sehr gemütlich, besonders am Abend, wenn die Beleuchtung eine warme Atmosphäre schafft. Hier kann man entspannt essen und den Tag ausklingen lassen.

Das Personal und der Inhaber waren außergewöhnlich freundlich und herzlich. Man hatte jederzeit das Gefühl, als Gast wirklich willkommen zu sein – ohne Distanz, sondern sehr persönlich und aufmerksam.

Unser Zimmer war sauber, gepflegt und gut ausgestattet. Besonders schön war der kleine Balkon mit Blick ins Dorf. Die Betten waren sehr bequem, und es standen ausreichend Kissen zur Auswahl zur Verfügung. Das Badezimmer war ebenfalls sehr sauber, allerdings eher klein – typisch für die Bauweise in dieser Region, was den Gesamteindruck aber nicht schmälert.

Ein weiterer Pluspunkt ist der Parkplatz in unmittelbarer Nähe. Dieser ist gut erreichbar und auch für größere Fahrzeuge wie SUVs problemlos nutzbar.

Ich konnte nicht übernachten! Bei. empfang wurde mir gesagt, mit booking.ch hat was nicht funktioniert, das Zimmer wurde Doppelt belegt, ich musste in ein anderes Hotel an dem Abend (Hotel Victoria).
Das Geld für das bezahlte Zimmer würde ich von booking.ch erhalten. Wann erhalte ich mein Geld?

La gentillesse et les attentions du gérant qui a tout fait pour nous satisfaire ! L'emplacement en hauteur et au calme avec une très belle vue sur Côme... La propreté des lieux et le bon rapport qualité prix du restaurant. Belle terrasse ombragée pour les jours de soleil . Encore merci pour ce bon séjour chez vous !
