Hotel was lovely. Pool was lovely.
Rooms were dark and although we were upgraded, rooms were small.
Staff were pleasant but I felt they lacked knowledge for guests.

Palazzo del Capitano is a charming hotel with a beautiful pool and garden area, which was definitely the highlight of our stay. It’s a pleasant place to relax after exploring the region.
Unfortunately, the air conditioning in our room did not perform well, and with the summer heat it made the room uncomfortable, especially at night.
Overall, the experience was good but not particularly memorable. We had expected something more special based on the reviews and photos, but it never felt like a truly exceptional stay.
The town itself is lovely to walk around, but in our opinion, it’s best suited for a one-night visit rather than a longer stay.
Not a bad hotel by any means, but there are other properties in Tuscany that offer a more memorable overall experience.
