cet hôtel n'a pas de parking, le parking public est loin et avec beaucoup de marches, les oublies dans la voiture son très pénalisant, son restaurant est à l'extérieur, dans le village, ma réservation prévoyait un jacuzzi dans la chambre, inutilisable (un débit d'eau incapable de le remplir, la nuit pour 350€ je suis très déçu. Pour parler le français ce n'était pas évident, une seule personne? le bon coté, un jolie jardin.

A magical and deeply romantic Tuscan getaway!

We had an unforgettable stay at Palazzo del Capitano. The historic palace is absolutely beautiful, offering a perfect blend of authentic Tuscan charm and modern luxury. Our room was incredibly cozy, spotlessly clean, and filled with romantic character.

The highlight was definitely the private spa experience, which was the perfect way to unwind. We also loved relaxing in the peaceful garden with a glass of local wine. The staff went above and beyond to make us feel welcome, and breakfast was delicious. If you are looking for a charming, high-quality escape in the heart of Val d'Orcia, this is the perfect place. Highly recommended!

Cons:

Un peu complexe de manger le soir sans prévoir de réservation. Si on pousse l'exigence, les parkings excentrés même si le personnel fait la navette !

A disappointing return stay.
Pros:

Returning 2 years later with great memories of our last stay we are very disappointed. This was an Air BnB experience and 4 star prices. Poor arrival and check in set the mood. The smallest bedroom and bathroom in the world (it was sold as small but at 160 a night we could not have been less pleased) chaotic breakfast, staff make you feel stressed. No check out. No contact during the stay, just very poor all round. This company has a monopoly in the town and this has not been a good thing. Just glad none of our friends went on our recommendation last time. You really need to look at the customer journey guys, it is not good for this price point. Only positive on our stay was Laura who was very nice and responsive.

Pros:

Everything was excellent. We have traveled to Val D’Orcia 7 or 8 times, and can say that this is a perfect place to stay if staying in a town. The location is perfect for strolling through San Quirico and the broader Val D’Orcia. The breakfast is a great way to start the day. I think our group did most things on the SPA menu, and their services are top notch. Would certainly recommend a stay here.
