Nice hotel but useless AC
Pros:

Lovely location with bakery and cafe just outside. Staff were friendly.

Cons:

I was only there for a night (luckily) to visit a friend so the majority of my use of the room was for sleeping. Unfortunately, the AC had only three settings: low, medium and strong with an old style control box. I left it on max with the lowest temp possible and it hardly made a dent in the high temperature of the small room. I spoke to the manager in the evening about it and he checked and said everything seemed to be working fine. I told him it may well be “working fine” but it’s not cooling the room sufficiently to be considered AC. Nothing more could be done, no one else had complained was the response from the manager, so I attempted to sleep despite the discomfort. I woke up at 2am sweating as the room temperature had not improved at all. I went downstairs to reception again to see if anything could be done as it was so uncomfortable but the desk is unmanned at night so I gave up and tried again to sleep in the hot and stuffy room.

At checkout I told the manager on duty and said the hotel should not advertise AC rooms if their system is not fit to produce anything like a cool temperature. Ive been staying in a hotel in Genoa and their AC actually cools the room. I received a text later on from the owner/manager offering a discount for future stays but no real acknowledgement of the discomfort I had to sleep through. I wouldn’t stay again even for free if nothing changes with the AC, not in the summer at the very least.

It’s a real shame as the hotel otherwise was nice. I would not recommend this if you’re looking for a comfortable night’s sleep in the summer.

Fijn verblijf gehad.
Pros:

Airco en koelkast op kamer. zeer mooie inrichting met hout.
Ook zeer vriendelijk en behulpzaam personeel

Cons:

Ontbijt iedere dag wel hetzelfde, maar wel redelijk goed

Nettes zentrales Hotel
Pros:

Traditionelles Hotel, gut renoviert, sehr sauber, sehr freundliches Personal. Zimmer und Bäder gut. Ordentliches Frühstück. Auch WiFi gut.

Wenn die beiden unten genannten Punkte geändert würden, kann ich es als nette, gut gelegene und preiswerte Unterkunft empfehlen

Cons:

Die Zufahrt vom Hotel in die hoteleigene Garage ist beim ersten Mal sehr kompliziert, auch wegen der wohl relativ neuen Einbahnstraßenregelung.
Da sollte das Hotel einen schematischen Plan auf Papier haben.

Der Zugang von der Garage zur Rezeption hat keine Hinweisschilder-Wegweiser, geht aber durch verschiedene Kellergänge und Wirtschaftsräume.

Pros:

Posizione ottima per visitare borghi nei dintorni. La camera matrimoniale spaziosa e dotata di ogni confort, personale gentile e cordiale. Pulizia soddisfacente

Cons:

Proporrei dolci artigianali per la colazione. Anche se è abbondante e variegata dal dolce al salato.
