360 photo booth was amazing I had so much fun on it i would come back and do it again fun time I loved my picture at the end
Estaba todo perfecto, para no haberse ido. Descansamos mucho y el personal era muy amable!
Que la piscina cerrase a las 6 de la tarde. Me parece un poco pronto. Creo que 1h o 1,30h más estaría perfecto.
I’ll admit, I arrived feeling a little apprehensive after reading some of the negative reviews—but whatever those reviewers experienced, we must have checked into a completely different hotel (or perhaps they just missed the point… and the sunshine).
From the moment you arrive, you’re greeted like a long-lost friend—if your long-lost friend also handed you a welcome drink and pointed you toward sunbeds, a pool bar, and a suspiciously inviting pool. The atmosphere is warm, friendly, and ever so slightly chaotic in a way that somehow makes everything more fun.
The rooms are clean, comfortable, and perfectly equipped for that important holiday balance of “doing absolutely nothing” and “occasionally moving to get snacks.” The beds are so comfy you may briefly consider cancelling all your plans in favour of a committed relationship with your pillow. No judgment here.
Now, let’s talk about the pool. It’s less of a pool and more of a lifestyle choice. You’ll go there “just for a quick dip” and resurface three hours later, slightly wrinkled but spiritually refreshed. And yes—brace yourself—it’s refreshingly cold. The kind of cold that makes you question your life choices for approximately three seconds… and then immediately dive back in because it’s exactly what you needed in that Lanzarote sunshine. And somehow, there’s always a sunbed waiting—like the hotel knows you’re coming and has quietly reserved your spot. The music at the pool was on repeat for the entire trip, however, it was inoffensive and gave you a rather fabulous earworm!
I’ll admit, the poolside music wasn’t exactly my personal soundtrack for relaxation, and the coffee won’t be winning any barista awards anytime soon—but honestly, that’s me really scraping the barrel for negatives.
The staff deserve a special mention. They are a delightful mix of efficient, cheerful, and impressively patient when guests (no names mentioned) forget their room numbers for the third time in a day. Nothing seems too much trouble, and everything is delivered with a smile that suggests they might be in on a secret about how to truly enjoy life.
The food? Let’s just say you’ll arrive with good intentions and leave with a renewed appreciation for elastic waistbands. Variety, flavour, and the occasional “I’ll just try a bit of everything” situation that quickly escalates—it’s all part of the experience.
And the location is ideal: close enough to explore Lanzarote’s stunning scenery, yet just far enough away to justify staying put with a drink in hand and pretending you’ll go out “later.”
The evening entertainment deserves its own spotlight—it was absolutely hilarious. Not in the polished West End sense, but in the wonderfully chaotic, “you just have to embrace it” kind of way. Once you lean into it, you’ll find yourself laughing far more than expected and wondering why all entertainment can’t be this unintentionally perfect.
In summary, Hotel Cosa Bastian is a place to unwind, laugh, eat slightly too much, and seriously consider extending your holiday indefinitely. Highly recommended… unless you don’t like sunshine, comfort, happiness—or invigoratingly cold pool dips!
Nada.
Rooms were nice but that's about it food is awful we paid all inclusive and eaten out every day of our 6 day trip it was terrible to say the least snack bar was make your own ham sandwich abit of a joke, drinks taste funny and had to pay 1 euro for a cup! Pool is absolutely freezing and no music playing by the pool and no entertainment during the daytime and entertainment at night was minimal, very out the way from everything like the main town and beach over all worst hotel iv stayed at definitely won't be returning, definitely not a 4*
We recently stayed here and overall had a pleasant break. While I personally wouldn’t class it as a true 4-star experience, there were definitely plenty of positives.
The room was clean, comfortable, and well-maintained. There were three of us sharing a twin room with a sofa bed, and all the beds were comfortable. A small downside was that the room only seemed set up for two guests, with only two cups, two balcony chairs, and two duvets provided.
The pool areas were lovely and we never struggled to find sunbeds during our stay, although I imagine it may get busier in peak season. There’s also a quieter shaded area below the main pool with extra loungers under palm trees, which was actually really nice given the lack of parasols.
Entertainment was fairly limited, but it was still very early in the season and the entertainment team worked hard and were friendly.
The main disappointment for us was the food. It wasn’t terrible, and we always found something to eat, but the variety and quality didn’t quite meet our expectations for a 4-star hotel.
The location is a little quieter, with Teguise a short taxi ride away, although there are a few bars within walking distance.
Overall, we enjoyed our stay and had a relaxing holiday. With some improvement to the food offering, we would happily consider returning.
AVOID AT ALL COSTS!
Hotel looks nothing like the pictures. It is rundown from outside and in.
DO NOT GO ALL INCLUSIVE!
Worst Food / Buffet / Pool Bar I have ever experienced!
Not worth 4 star at all , more like 2!
Well lets start on the positives our room was lovely clean and bright over all the hotel was very nice most of the staff were helpful only a hand full let them down
But the not so positives there were no parasols so there was no way to get out of the sun unless you went back into hotel so a bit worrying for people with children .
Lets get on to the all inclusive or the lack of it you could only have beer wine soft drinks and coffee no cocktails unless it was the cocktail of the day never came across this before not that i drink alcohol but it would have been nice to have a choice now we get on to the food the snacks were only cheese ham and bread nothing else unless you wanted to pay not the definition of all inclusive The food in restaurant was at best warm thank goodness we found the microwave so we had hot food coffee was only available at breakfast in the restaurant shame would have been nice to finish our meal . The hotel is a bit out of the way you need to get a cab into teguise or walk to the back of the hotel to get the bus when i say the back you have to go out the front turn right get the corner turn right again then next corner turn right again you should be able to see bus stop would it not be a good idea to have a back exit to get to bus stop easier especially for people with mobility issues or maybe invest in a shuttle bus to take people into town to enjoy teguise more . I can't comment on the entertainment as we did't go and form what other people said we did't miss much. Shame to say we won't be returning as the hotel was very nice just need a few changes.

Lovely rooms: Very, very comfy beds & plenty space. Cleaners were great & came everyday.
Staff: All are lovely, always smiling & very polite.
Restaurants: I did struggle at times, for a 4* it wasnt great for many options. Pool bar food also not great. My only negative from this hotel.
Area: 10 min walk to a few bars, supermarket, pharmacy etc.. Taxi 4 mins get you to the square which has more bars & restaurants. About 5 euros & reception will book.
No umbrellas around the pool so remember your hats for a bit shade.
We did have a nice little bank holiday break & hotel was very clean & staff lovely x
