Airco werkte niet, nadat de stroom van de airco in de meterkast uitgezet was deed alleen de ventilator het. Na een uur ging de airco helemaal uit. Er is door ons vier maal een melding aan de receptie gedaan. Telkens werdt alleen de stroom uitgezet en deed de ventilator het weer. Receptie zit een jongeman die zichtbaar geërgerd was en heeft tot drie maal toe beloofd het te verhelpen. Na drie hete nachten krijgt dit hote,l op het ontbijt na, van ons een dikke onvoldoende. Overigens sliepen wij in de familiekamer, dus deden twee airco's op twee slaapkamers het NIET. Prijs- kwaliteit is ver beneden peil. Laatste nacht konden we op een andere kamer maar waren aan de temperatuur gewend. Plus dat we dan voor een nacht moesten verkassen. Aanbod afgeslagen.

Que no pudiéramos entrar en la habitación hasta las 16h. La ubicación, el camino para ir a la playa son 20’ cuesta arriba.
The staff were decent—not amazing, but helpful enough, and we didn't face any issues with them. The check-in and check-out process was smooth and completely hassle-free. Another big plus was that they provided parking spaces for cars, which was very convenient.
First, the photos online are highly misleading; the room looks brand new and perfect in pictures, but in reality, it is outdated. The room doors in general show clear signs of wear and tear and damage from old impacts.
Secondly, there was a very strong and unpleasant chemical odor as soon as we entered the room, similar to freshly sprayed insect repellent. This smell became even worse when we opened the two large wooden doors where the kitchenette was hidden (which I initially mistook for a wardrobe), and the odor lingered for a relatively long time.
Finally, the air conditioning was a major issue. It was not powerful enough for a room of this size and kept blowing air intermittently. Worse, it was spitting out small black charcoal-like particles. When touched, these particles would smudge, stain, and turn into a sticky, dirty mess.

Hotel troszkę lata świetności ma już poza sobą, położony na wzgórzu w bardzo spokojnej willowej okolicy, duże pokoje z aneksem kuchennym i wyremontowanymi łazienkami, bardzo miły i przyjazny personel, hotel posiada darmowy parking oraz ogród z basenem
checkin o 16:00 - trochę późno, hotelowi przydałby się remont , jako że hotel położony jest na wzgórzu - można się zasapać w drodze powrotnej ( jak to usłyszałem od personelu 10-15 minut do plaży a powrót 45 minut ) ale nie wpływa to na ocenę hotelu
A crazy place, designed only for people from the UK, where they can drink and behave loudly all the time. The staff does nothing about the fact that you can't sleep at night, because for example, in the next room several roommates have gathered together and are making inappropriate noise. We met another couple from Germany, who were also not happy with what was happening, they also encountered something like this for the first time. It is clear that for many people from the UK, drunkenness and inappropriate behavior are an integral part of everyday life, but when coming to another country, I don't think that a hotel should tolerate such behavior.
Hotel located just a few minutes walk from the beach and the center of Carvoeiro.
Very clean and comfortable!
