Quartos com mal cheiro, toalhas idem, chuveiro saindo pouquíssima água, todos os dias ao amanhecer muito barulho, ainda foi pior em determinado dia em que parecia haver uma obra no edifício, café da manha com pouquíssimas opções por dois dias em que ficamos hospedados sequer havia leite para o café da manha. Cama horrível com um colchão com desnível. Horrível. Estavamos no quarto andar ao chegarmos acionamos o elevador após vários minutos sem que a atendente dissesse qualquer coisa perguntamos se havia algum problema e só assim ela nos informou que havia um problema que teria de ligar a alguém para que resolvessem, ao ser indagada sobre o temo de iria demorar ela nos disse que faria alg após dar entrada em seu plantão.

The hotel is located right in the city center, on the waterfront, so the area is naturally quite lively and some street noise can be heard. There is a supermarket nearby, which is very convenient.
The building is clearly older and this is not a hotel focused on luxury or modern comfort. However, the price was very reasonable for Funchal, and that was one of the main reasons we chose it.
If you are traveling by car, be aware that parking is not included and can be expensive. We found the cheapest parking option for €5 per day, while most nearby parking facilities charged around €19 per day.
Overall, it is a good budget option with an excellent central location.

Close to the center.

Cons:

It was dirty and when i left my room to go out for 1-2 hours and i came back, many of ants was all over my room and inside my soda drink..towels was dirty, i was a bit disgusted to stay there, about stuff i didn't have any issues it was just the english skill that they were missing.
Also a lot of disturbing noice coming from other rooms,doors etc.
Only good think this hotel has is next to the centrum.
