Great staff, but disappointing value for a five-star hotel
Pros:

We recently stayed at the hotel from Friday to Monday and had a mixed experience.

The strongest aspect of our stay was undoubtedly the staff. Everyone we interacted with was courteous, professional, and genuinely helpful, and their attitude made our stay more enjoyable.

Unfortunately, there were several issues that we would not expect from a five-star property. We were assigned a room where it was impossible to take a shower standing up in the bathtub because of the heavily sloped ceiling. Considering that the room cost around €1,500 per night for Friday and Saturday, we expected accommodation that matched the price and category of the hotel.

The hotel did offer us the opportunity to change rooms starting on Saturday. However, after already spending one night, unpacking our luggage, and settling in, moving rooms would have caused considerable inconvenience. In our view, guests paying these rates should not be expected to deal with this type of disruption.

Another disappointing incident was that my wife’s pajamas disappeared during our stay. We assume they were accidentally taken away together with the bed linens during housekeeping, but regardless of the cause, it was an unfortunate experience.

Overall, the location and the staff are excellent, but the room allocation and housekeeping issues meant that the experience did not meet the standards or value we expect from a luxury five-star hotel. We hope this feedback helps the management improve the guest experience.

Amazing stay
Pros:

This was an amazing location and hotel. The staff were so kind and helpful, especially Nicolo who gave us the best recommendations and wanted us to feel the most comfortable here.

Verassend hotel van binnen zeer mooi, wat je als je buitenstaat niet verwacht. Zeer goed ontbijt.

Cons:

Parkeren is wel een probleem. We waren op doorreis dus prima echter je moet hier geen week zitten in deze plaats. Zeer klein niks te beleven. Dan kun je beter een plaats hiervoor nemen. Meer stranden, hotels, restaurants en winkels etc.

Un angolo di charme nel centro di Portofino
Pros:

Staff organizzato e molto gentile , la struttura e’ piccola ma ha tutto il necessario ed è ben arredata, profumata, moderna. La colazione l’ho trovata fantastica e la sala e’ molto graziosa. Stile curato e attenzione al cliente. Al mio arrivo ho avuto un upgrade ed è stato molto gradito. La navetta a disposizione e’ un valore aggiunto così come la spiaggia a paraggi, fantastica .

You pay only for Location, and Decoration

Location and decoration only, you overnnight in a chic room, and easy walk town in 3 mins, thats why you pay that high amount
