A genuinely memorable stay — excellent service, a fantastic location, and that unforgettable rooftop
Pros:

I stayed at Marmara Guesthouse for four nights (17-21 Aug 26) and had a fantastic experience from start to finish.

From my first contact, communication was excellent, and throughout my stay I was really impressed by the consistently high and professional level of service. The Front Desk, Housekeeping and Breakfast staff were all friendly, welcoming and attentive, which made me feel very comfortable as a solo traveller.

The location is fantastic — just a short walk from the Blue Mosque, Hagia Sophia and the Basilica Cistern. It was a perfect base for exploring the historic part of Istanbul, and I loved being able to walk out of the guesthouse and straight into the heart of the city.

Breakfast each morning was another highlight. The spread was beautifully presented, with plenty of choice and everything prepared with obvious care. But the real WOW was the rooftop setting and the incredible view across the Bosphorus. Sitting there having breakfast each morning with that view was something I won't forget.

The Front Desk team were also extremely helpful in organising my early morning taxi departure to Sabiha Gökçen Airport (SAW). Leaving at 5:00am can be stressful, but everything was organised perfectly and they were there to assist me with the departure.

As a solo traveller, Marmara Guesthouse gave me exactly the experience I was hoping for in Istanbul — great location, wonderful people, excellent service and a genuinely welcoming atmosphere. I would happily stay here again and have no hesitation recommending it to anyone visiting Istanbul.

Cons:

Stairs up are a little tight but nothing too extreme. Everything else was great

Pros:

Las instalaciones son súper cómodas y están muy limpias. La verdad es que todo estuvo muy bien. El desayuno es muy variado y además, tiene unas vistas increíbles al Bósforo. En general, una experiencia muy buena y totalmente recomendable.

Delightful and the staff were lovely.

Clean convenient location with a sea view room. Breakfast on the terrace overlooking the water was lovely.

Cons:

No longer ft. I had to walk up narrow stairs. The staff were lovely and helped with the luggage.

Wspaniałe zabytki , pyszne jedzenie, super pokój. Wszystko w jednym miejscu.
Pros:

Uwielbiam takie klimatyczne hoteliki. Wspaniała obsługa, dostępna 24 godziny na dobę, Pyszne śniadania na dachu budynku z pięknym widokiem na Bosfor. Blisko do najlepszych atrakcji turystycznych. Bardzo udany pobyt. Polecamy bardzo.
