Erwartungen für eine Zwischenstation übertroffen.
Pros:

Das Hotel passte genau unsere Zwecke, eine ruhige Nacht vor der weiteren Bahnfahrt zu verbringen. Trotz der Bahnhof Näher waren die Fenster sehr gut Lärm geschützt. Das Zimmer war sehr sauber, gute Betten, einwandfreie Bettwäsche, Handtücher und Hygiene Artikel. Für 2 Sterne Hotel ist mehr, als erwartet.

Cons:

Man muss sich an Reception-Zeit anpassen (bis 23 Uhr). Und ein Paar Stufen mehr, als für Koffer gewünscht ist. Der Aufzug wurde an die alte Gebäude zugebaut und hält nur zwischen Etagen.

Room Condition & Amenities
The room does not reflect the photographs on Booking. Our bedroom appeared to be from the 1980s—worn, outdated, and in poor condition. At €254 per night, we expected basic modern standards, including air conditioning. This price segment demands at least functional AC.
Critical issues:
• No air conditioning: The room was unbearably hot, making sleep impossible.
• Poor electrical layout: No outlets next to the bed. The small refrigerator had to be plugged into the bathroom because no outlets were available in the hallway where the fridge was positioned.
• Inadequate infrastructure: For a hotel charging €254/night, basic amenities are non-negotiable.
For context: We stayed at a 4-star Maritim hotel in a very good Berlin location for only €110 per night—far better value and quality.

Noise & Isolation Issues
• Poor window isolation: Windows provided almost no sound dampening. We could hear street noise clearly.
• Thin walls: We heard neighbors constantly, including children playing and screaming at midnight.
• Location noise: Due to the area, drunk people screamed outside regularly throughout the night.
• Overall sleep impossible: The combination of heat, poor insulation, and external noise made sleep unviable.

Value Assessment
The €254 nightly rate is unjustifiable for this room quality. Given the condition, location noise, and lack of essential amenities, this room should cost €60 or less. The fact that Bayern and Stuttgart were playing in Berlin that weekend does not excuse such overpricing for substandard accommodation.
We were two people in a room that felt neglected and poorly maintained.

Booking Photos vs. Reality
The pictures on Booking do not represent the actual room. This is misleading and a significant concern for future guests. What we received looked decades old.

Prima voor een korte stedentrip.
Pros:

Ruimte in kamer was prima, zijn met een samenstelling van 2 volwassenen en 3 kinderen. Locatie zit zoals omschreven dichtbij de metro wat het ideaal maakt voor uitstapjes de stad in. Ontbijt buffet hebben wij geen gebruik van gemaakt dus kunnen hier geen oordeel over geven, de eerste ochtend wilden we wel gaan ontbijten in het hotel, maar toen bleek dat je dat een dag van tevoren even aan moet geven of je komt ontbijten ja of nee.
Wij hebben iets verderop in de straat een bakkertje gevonden met zit gelegenheid. Die voldeed prima.

Tijdens de heenreis hebben wij veel file gehad, de receptie is open tot 23.00. Heb de receptie op de hoogte gehouden van onze iets latere aankomst en dit was geen probleem, er werd zelfs aangeboden om 15 tot 20 minuten te wachten op ons. ( Dank Yana! ).

Cons:

Paar puntjes van aandacht:

- Als je komt met een kinderwagen Er is een lift aanwezig om op de etages te komen, echter als je de lift uit stapt moet je nog een stukje met de trap omhoog om op de etage vloer te komen. Niet heel erg handig, maar wel te doen.
- Er is een prive parkeer plek aanwezig ( tegen betaling ) zoals omschreven, de ingang hiervan is behoorlijk smal te noemen. Een volkswagen golf gaat wel, maar de grotere suv's en mpv's passen niet.

Katastrophal und nicht zu Empfehlen.
Cons:

Super schlechter Service. Rufen mich 1h vor Ankuft an, „befehlen“ mir zu Stornieren weil die das Zimmer jetzt an wen anders vermietet haben und die nach meiner Stornierung mein Geld zurücküberweisen werden. Nach solch einer Aktion habe ich kein Vertrauen mehr in dieses Unternehmen. Nachts um 23:30Uhr konnte ich das durch den Kundenservice klären. NICHT EMPFEHLENSWERT

Das Geld wert
Pros:

Die Lage war gut. Gleich gegenüber ist der S-Bahnhof und die U-Bahn Station. In der Nähe gibt es viele Restaurants. Personal war sehr freundlich und haben und Reise-Tipps gegeben.

Cons:

Die Zimmern sehen in Wirklichkeit etwas abgenutzter aus, als auf den Bildern bei Booking.com.
